NIPPON YATAIMURA, QUEENSBAY MALL

March 14, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Nippon Yataimura a place which you may visit for a taste of Japanese in Queensbay Mall besides the usual Azuama, Sakae Sushi and Sushi King which is around the corner of the mall. The restaurant is located near to the basement carpark the same floor as Kenny Roasters. We had our dinner there since I am getting bored with the usual Sakae Sushi and Sushi King in Queensbay Mall. The tables are suitable for 2-4 person and they don have a lot of big space table and we had to separate into 2 tables for this round.

We started with the Seafood Fried Rice which is a slight disappointing where the garlic taste is not fragrant enough. The portion is also just moderate and taste wise is very normal. Nothing much to shout about on the fried rice.
Taste : 2/5
Price : RM 10.80(S) / RM 14.00 (L)

Next comes the Salmon Sashimi where the fresh salmon is well cutted to 7 pcs. The salmon was good and fresh which is the good point in having salmons.
Taste : 3/5
Price : RM 19.80

White Tuna Carupaccio is nothing special where the fresh white tuna is beings served fresh. I still prefer the one we had in Senjyu rather than here and the portion is quite small as well.
Taste : 3/5
Price : RM 14.80

Negi Ramen is one of delicious delights which is being served. The ramen with the springy texture and it is served with the char siew with it. I could not say this is good as I prefer the ramen fr Gokuraku Ramen more than here.
Taste : 3/5
Price: RM 9.80 (S)/ RM 14.50 (L)

Salmon Maki, nothing to shout about which is just a normal dish.
Taste : 3/5
Price: RM 4.00

Last but not least we had the Salmon Teriyaki Bento which is not really in par. The rice was quite dry and the salmon is not really good too. Not much complain as we just payed RM 19.00 for the bento which is served with the a couple of fried chicken with it.
Taste : 2/5
Price:RM 19.00
