Misai Kuching (Scienctific : Orthosiphon stamineus) is one of the herbs which is widely grown in the tropical area. Why it is called Misai Kuching? It is because the purple flowers bearing long protruding stamens that resembles to cat whisker.

Also known as Java tea, it was possibly introduced to the west in early 20th century. Misai Kucing is popularly consumed as a herbal tea. And recently, we had gotten a pack of the Misai Kuching tea from Bioalpha where they are beautifully packed.

The Misai Kuching Tea comes with the combination of the black tea leaves together with the Misai Kuching. Each pack comes with 30 sachets of tea bags in it which makes brewing comes convenient. And what you do is to add the tea sachet into hot water about 2 minutes and you can drink them.

The tea comes really refreshing and good which I am loving it so much!  After trying it for 2 days , I found that I visit the washroom more often than usual.

And of course, when purchasing any products it is also good to know the resource and the information about the company and businesses. And we understand that Bioalpha Holdings Berhad  is an integrated health supplement company, is on track to further strengthen its agriculture business with the development of its herbal parks progressing well.

And now , the group owns two herbal park where one located in  Desaru, Johor and another in Pasir Raja, Terengganu. With the total of 1,303 acres, they are one of the largest herbal parks in Malaysia. The herbal parks are being developed for the cultivation of raw herbs to be utilized for the in-house production of the Group’s herbal-based health supplement products.

Most importantly is they are using the organic fertilizers and with this you are assured that each of them comes with the quality products. And the bio- fertilizers are created using the chicken manure which is fully conformed with MYGAP planting practices as well as Thailand’s Earthsafe Foundation. And in here, Bioalpha brings you over 20 types of plants where they are adding more crops. And it is one of their aim for herbal – based raw materials that are of a good quality. And their target is to have the combined 2,000 metric tonnes of harvest by end of 2020 from their herbal parks in Desaru and Pasir Raja.
