Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong Presents Exquisite Chinese New Year Puddings

December 7, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong presents a series of magnificent traditional festive puddings. The puddings are available in three classic flavours, namely Chinese Turnip Cake with Conpoy, Coconut Pudding with Gold Foil and Water Chestnut Cake. They will be available at the three hotels – Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel and Prince Hotel – from now until 4 February 2019.

A delicious and very auspicious way to welcome the Lunar New Year, the traditional puddings are delicately handcrafted by our hotels’ chefs using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Savour an authentic taste of New Year with our Chinese Turnip Cake with Conpoy, made with Chinese sausage, Jinhua ham, dried shrimp and conpoy.

Those with a sweet tooth will find the Coconut Pudding with Gold Foil and Water Chestnut Cake irresistible choices for New Year indulgence. The sweet and sticky Coconut Pudding is made of glutinous rice, coconut milk and brown sugar, and decorated festively with edible gold foil, adding extra luxury to the traditional pudding. Water Chestnut Cake is filled with crunchy pieces of top-quality water chestnut for a delightful texture and sweet taste. All puddings are elegantly packaged with an auspicious fish design, making them ideal to enjoy at home or share as gifts bringing New Year’s fortune to family, friends and business associates.

The three traditional puddings are priced at HK$198 per box. For enquiries or orders, please call or visit Cafe Marco, Three on Canton or add@Prince.
