Aman Rimba @ Janda Baik: Heavenly Getaway!

June 6, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Aman Rimba Private Estate is indeed a perfect staycation which brings you back to nature. Just 50 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur city centre, Aman Rimba is nestling on the quiet edges of Janda Baik in the district of Bentong in Pahang. The estate is surrounded by abundant tropical greens and bathed by the cool hill-slope air.

Aman Rimba designed in the timeless craftmenship which brings you with the beautiful interior. Walking towards the estate, we are blown away with the beautiful nature and we are simply impressed with the 5-star resort tucked in the middle of a laid back kampung. Upon arrival, the resident manager, Encik Ashari, comes out to greet us, ushers us into a cooling common area – the dining hall – where we are served freshly blended juice and a cold towel.

Designed in the timeless craftsmanship of a traditional Malay “kampung” (village) along the banks of the sparkling Sungai Benus river, this private estate is perfect for both fun family weekends, and insightful, energized corporate getaways. And in Aman Rimba, it has six private villas spread over three undulating acres, and can comfortably hold 20 pax, and up to 35 with roll-away beds, in thoughtfully-designed private rooms.  And whats make the whole concept special is it is a private estate which means you won’t be bumping into other guest on the grounds during your stay except the workers.

Start off with the walkabout with Encik Ashari around the estate where we started with the multipurpose hall.  This multipurpose hall is suitable for guests who plans for corporate function, weddings, or big parties. The hall comes with the open concept with Balianese feel and yet a relaxing feel and you can hear birds churping around.

And next, we walk around the six villas where every one of them is different but mimic the old Malay deco. Started with Sireh where this is the first villa build. It comes with one bedroom and attached bathroom where it houses 2 guests comfortably.  And inside there are loads of books around so for book lovers you will definitely fall in love with the space. And what’s more is where it comes with the open concept bathroom which is simply beautiful.

Moving next is the Serai. The Serai brings you with another digerent concept where they are the standalone house which is surrounded by nature and also with the outdoor shower. The Serai Villas brings you with the wooden theme where they have the kampung alike feel which I love the most.

Moving next is the Halia and Kunyit where they both shared the same design and layout. Both of them are just next to each outher where they comes with beautiful view of the lake itself or the mini swimming pool.

Just opposite the lake, here you goes with the 2 units ( Kantan 1 and Kantan 2) side by side with the connection portion at the living room. With the bigger space, both the Kantan comes with bigger rooms where can accommodate up to 5-6 person with ease; on each unit. And the design is like a banglow with the Malay style house. And the rooms are just beautiful with the priceless view and huge bathroom.

And staying here brings us with the great experience where we let go all our work for a day; taking a walk around enjoying the beautiful fauna and flora.

Asides they do have a game room as well where one can enjoy playing some games in the game room. They have some nice game to be enjoyed as well.

And don’t worry, meals are well- prepared where we get our lunch, dinner and breakfast all – included. The food comes delicious where they have great chef to prepare our dinner and making sure our tummy filled with the delicious local delicacies.

For those who are looking for space for events, or even a private getaway with families, Aman Rimba is a good choice. For more info, kindly check out their facebook, and website
