EXPERIENCE MACAO YOUR OWN STYLE’ AT THE MATTA TRAVEL FAIR

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will be exhibiting at the MATTA Travel Fair from 8th to 10th September at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) (Booth No: 1443 -1449, Hall 1). MGTO will showcase not only the unique fusion of East meets West that Macao is famous for, but also the new attractions in the city as well as the exciting world class events and festivals that are coming up towards the end of this year.

This time, MGTO will be accommodating 7 colorful booths to showcase Destination Macao. Holidaymakers, take this opportunity to bag the best travel deals to Macao and the Pearl River Delta region. If you purchase a Macao travel package with at least 1-night stay in Macao from any participating travel agents at the fair, you will be able to redeem gift items from the Macao booths, so be sure to come early before the stocks are wiped out. There will be a fun Cooking Game on a digital touch screen and a food tasting booth, so do not miss this opportunity to sample tasty delicacies.

As a city growing to be the Centre for World Tourism and Leisure, numerous events and activities dot Macao’s yearly calendar. Towards the year end, even more amazing festivals are to be expected. The city will be illuminated in a brilliant display of artistic talents and creativity in the Macao Light Festival, the 2nd International Film Festival and Awards Macao and Parade through Macao, Latin City. There is also the 17th Macau Food Festival, Suncity Group 64th Macau Grand Prix and the annual Macao International Marathon where professionals and amateurs alike can participate in an
invigorating run across Macao in the cool winter season.

As well, the showcase will highlight new attractions and other developments in the constantly evolving city. A number historic point of interests, galleries, as well as other arts and cultural attractions have recently been opened for public enjoyment. Nam Van Lake has been rejuvenated with Anim Arte NAM VAN, turning the lake into a favourite leisure spot with creative shops, craft market, street art, and pedal boats for visitors to enjoy.
