Hock Kee Hock Chew Cuisine @ Lot 10 : Truly Fook Chow Delights

August 24, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

It is kinda hard to get a truly Fook Chow Delights and recently we  found one in  10 Hutong. With a long history, the recipe is inherited by both Jeassy and Jacky’s grandmother. And generations later, the siblings  decided to revived and give birth to  Hock Kee’s with the signature Red Wine Mee Suah.
Hock Chew Claypot Mee Suah (RM 15)
Starts your meal of course with their signature mee suah which is Hock Chew Claypot Mee Suah. It is said that the broth is made for hours and using their grandmother recipes to make it. We love how it is done where the mee suah comes simply fragrant with the hint of the Chinese Red Wine in it.
Hock Chew Dried Mee Suah (RM 10.50)
If you are not a  big fans of the Chinese Red Wine Mee Suah, do try the dried version. Nicely done and packed with flavours. Comes with their signature home made fish paste ball. The fish paste ball fried till perfection leaving you with the bouncy and yet flavourful taste.

Hock Chew Red Vineger Pork Rice  (RM 11)
Home Cooked Braised Pork Rice (RM 13)
Aside from Mee Suah, the owners do cater some homey dishes they had at home as well. Bringing you with the both signatures where one can enjoy the Hock Chew Red Vinasse Pork and the Home Cooked Braised Pork. Both are just perfectly done and such a taste of home to me.

Hock Chew Peanut Soup (RM 5.00)
Eds your meal wih the delicious peanut soup which is perfectly prepared. Boiled and cooked for hours, the peanut soup is such a tummy warming desserts to end with the sweet hint.
Why not head to 10 Hutong for a delight Fook Chow Cuisine.
