Christmas Cheer at Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur

December 22, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur is delighted and privileged to work together with the Rotary Club of Damansara to organize Annual Christmas Cheer for children from selected orphanages in Klang Valley. The objective of this annual event is to bring good cheer to these children who are among the neediest in our society.

Eighty orphans and children of single parents from following homes will be present. The Urban Poor (40 Children), Ti Ratana Welfare Society (20 Children) and Sanctuary Care Centre (20 Children).

Ms Jane Suppiah, General Manager of Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur in her speech mentioned “Like the Rotary Club of Damansara who is committed to “Serving Humanity”, the Eastin Hotel is committed in giving back to society. We just could not miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children especially over the Christmas season of giving & sharing.
A very wise Saint Mother Teresa once said, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

Eastin Hotel, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for the year 2016, will be providing high tea with refreshments on 10th December 2016, so that the children will have a meal treat, that they will long remember.

The Rotary Club of Damansara, having organised Christmas Cheer for the last 15 years or so, has arranged the programme for the day, which will commence at 10.00am and there will be a series of games and activities to keep the children entertained. The programme for the day is as follows:
