Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong Celebrates the Holiday Season with an Exclusive G.O.D. Gift and Other Festive Activities

This festive season, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong has prepared a myriad of celebratory activities, including a charity sale of Bird Cage oil burners designed by G.O.D., countdown parties, as well as a dazzling selection of dining offers, gourmet hampers and holiday gifts.


G.O.D. Bird Cage Oil Burner Charity Sale

For the first time ever, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong joins hands with Hong Kong’s original lifestyle brand, Goods of Desire (G.O.D.) to present a unique gift idea – the exclusive Bird Cage oil burner. Exquisitely crafted with matt white porcelain and embellished with a golden songbird on top, the burner creates a soothing ambience with its flickering candlelight gleaming through the “bird cage” adorned with

Chinese cloud embossment.

Available at the lobby festive counter (opening on 1 December), all restaurants of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong as well as selected G.O.D. stores (from mid-November), the limited-edition Bird Cage oil burner is priced at HK$200 each. Proceeds from the sale will go directly to the hotel’s charity partner, Heep Hong Society – one of Hong Kong’s leading education and rehabilitation organisations committed to helping children and youth with special needs.

New Year’s Eve Countdown Parties

On New Year’s Eve, guests can bid a fond farewell to 2016 at one of these countdown
