Ishin Japanese Restaurant @ Old Klang Road

October 24, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

One of the famous Japanese Cuisine restaurant in town, Ishin is indeed one of the restaurant which worth to visit for those who are loving Japanese delights. Located along the Old Klang Road, Ishin did not disappoint us everytime we visited and this round, we had also tried some of their signature menu.
Japanese Sweet Corn Salad (RM 35)
Enjoy the bowl of greenies with the cutted sweetcorn together with the tomato, greenies, as well as the alfalfa

leaf in it. The salad is served with Chef’s signature wasabi sauce with some sesame in it. With the combination, you can taste the light spiciness of the sauce and the corns comes crispy and sweet.

Special Sashimi (Seasonal Price)
Fresh ingredients all served in on the bed of ice where you can find the Uni,isaki, shake belly, hamachi, shima aji, aji, akagai and botan ebi in it. Taste the sweetness of the sashimi where it is simply so fresh where every items is just mouthwatering and filled with the sweetness from the seafood.

Steamed Japanese Sweet Corn (RM 48/pc)
One of the most expensive sweet corn I ever had. The sweet corn is simply sweet, crispy and also juicy. The taste is awesomely good!
Shin Sanma Shioyaku (RM 58)
The sanma fish is being grilled till perfection and the meat comes simply chunky and nice. The taste is pretty good with the sauce that accompanied with it. Love the taste of the fish.

Shin Sanma Nitsuke with Arima Sonsho (RM 68)
Cooked with the light spicy sauce, the sanma is simply good and delicious and fresh. The fish meat is flaky but just beware off the bones.
Miyasaki Stone Grill (RM 250)
Using the stone grill technique, which is a more traditional way of enjoying the beef. The beef is being grilled till perfection , and the taste comes simply moist and juicy.
Ishiyaki Unagi Don “Hitsuma Bushi” (RM 88)
I love the don so much where it comes with 3 way to enjoy the bowl of rice. You can opt to have them just wth the sushi, and then enjoy the unagi, scallion, nuri and wasabi and lastly combine both and topped with soup. The taste is just awesome and pretty unique.

Giant Oyster Cheese Yaki (RM 28/ pc)
The creamy bites of cheese with the oyster there. Just a great one to enjoy.
Yaburi Melon (RM 68 / slice)
The sweet melon, juicy and nice and the melon is fully imported all the way from Japan.

Rain Drop Cake (RM 8)
Last but not least is the rain drop cake where it is a hit nowadays. Served with the Japanese Grinded Soya, as well as the brown sugar. Enjoy the sweet sensation of the rain drop cake and I will bet you will definitely love it.
