August 4, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

JW Café’s award-winning Executive Sous Chef, Tony Wong, isexcited to announce that the restaurant’s Sai Kung seafood promotion, a popular favourite among many of our guests for the past decade, is returning this summer. In addition to its allday dining options, the restaurant will feature the delicious seafood-themed dinner buffet once again from 1 to 21 August 2016.

The village of Sai Kung is home to the famous floating seafood market, a Hong Kong attraction known for its abundance of fresh, mouthwatering seafood. Guests can look forward to experiencing the unique and rich flavours of Sai Kung-inspired seafood dishes at JW Café. The buffet will offer delectable items such as wok-fried crab and mantis with chilli and spice, which is deliciously prepared in local typhoon shelter-style; steamed scallop with garlic and spring onion, topped with vermicelli; steamed lobster with minced garlic; wok-fried oyster with ginger and spring onion; crispy salted prawn; flavourful wok-fried potato grouper with mushroom and chives, and many more.

In addition to the array of seafood available from the dinner buffet, diners will also be able to indulge in a variety of other Western and Asian creations including premium Chinese specialties like braised abalone with shiitake mushroom; braised fish maw in supreme broth; steamed potato grouper with crab roe sauce; and braised sea cucumber with superior oyster sauce. Other culinary highlights include a sushi bar, Shanghai appetiser station, a noodle bar, and a cold cuts and salad counter. Saving the best for last, the buffet also features an impressive dessert bar with an assortment of petit fours, home-made pastries, cakes as well as JW Café’s very own signature Hong Kong Opera Cake.

The Sai Kung seafood dinner buffet is available from 6pm-10pm, and priced at HK$698 peradult and HK$478 per child, Monday to Thursday; and HK$768 per adult and HK$528 per child
