SHOPBACK PARTNERS VILLAGE PARK RESTAURANT TO TREAT MALAYSIANS SCRUMPTIOUS NASI LEMAK

April 15, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

From 15 April 2016 to 15 May 2016, ShopBack Malaysia will not only be rewarding people with cash for shopping online, but also for eating Nasi Lemak – a Cashback treat that most surveyed shoppers wished for. Public can get up to 100% Cashback when they feast on a Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (Nasi Lemak with fried chicken) at Village Park Restaurant, the famous Nasi Lemak eatery in town.

The partnership was not plucked out of the air. Prior to this, ShopBack had run a week-long poll to find out what Malaysians would like to get Cashback for. 45% of over 300 votes went to the option of “When I treat myself a nice meal (e.g. Nasi Lemak) after a long week”.

“Our smart shoppers have cashed out at least RM4M last year; an encouraging result that motivated us to explore other ways to help Malaysians shop and save more. This offline-to-online Nasi Lemak campaign is aligned with our dedication to promote and enable real cash savings by providing Cashback on items that Malaysians love,” said Mr. Gil Carmo, Country Head, ShopBack Malaysia.

“We are thrilled to partner with Village Park Restaurant on this Cashback campaign. All of us are personal fans of its Nasi Lemak, so we hope to share the joy with all Malaysians. The treat is on us!” Gil added.

Widely recommended by food lovers in the country, Village Park Restaurant has received many fond reviews since 2002 and was awarded with the Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor in 2015, also voted as the Best Ayam Goreng in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2014. The restaurant is open for business from 6.30am to 7.30pm during weekdays, and 6.30am to 6.00pm during weekends and Public Holidays.
