SUNWAY PROPERTY TO TRANSFORM ITS SUNWAY SOUTH QUAY LAKE INTO A CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND

Christmas joy will come early at Sunway South Quay, Bandar Sunway as Sunway Property is currently in the works to transform the development’s lakeside promenade into a “Christmas Wonderland by the Lake” for a year-end celebration on Saturday, December 5th from 3pm – 8pm.

The carnival, which is free for the public, is part of Sunway Property’s “Living Sunway, Living Community” campaign, and a year-end tribute to its communities for the support it has garnered throughout the year.

Upon entering the lakeside promenade through the 12 arches of Christmas, visitors will be greeted by a giant 20-foot inflatable Santa who will be “dancing” throughout the evening. In addition, there will be appearances by characters from famous movie animations.

As part of the carnival, there will be a Dinosaurs Alive show where visitors will be able to marvel at a mighty tyrannosaurus rex, stegosaurus and don’t miss the opportunity to feed the baby t-rex and apatosaurus.

The merriment of Christmas will be further brought to life with a towering 15-foot Christmas tree, delightful Santarinas, cheerful elves, and spirited Christmas carolers who will perform the season’s favourite tunes. Aspiring Hansels and Gretels will be delighted to explore a giant 12-feet gingerbread house decorated with colourful candies.

Carnival game enthusiasts will be able to participate in a host of exciting free-to-play games at the carnival’s 10 games booths and win festive goodies. Especially for the foodies, a collection of food trucks including crowd favourites such as Laughing monkey café, Julicious, Oh My Fruit Juice (OMFJ), La Famiglia, and Babarittos, will be cooking up a storm. Visitors will be presented free food vouchers and drinks coupons, which can be collected at the entrance to the venue. There will also be a lucky draw to win exclusive Sunway sponsored prizes for participants.

In the evening, enjoy a spectacular 3D water projection show and light display on the lake with stunning fireworks to end the night.
