THE SHILLA SEOUL AND SHILLA JEJU CELEBRATE THE AURA OF AUTUMN

November 6, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

As the weather turns cool and the vibrant Autumn colours start to appear, The Shilla Seoul and The Shilla Jeju welcome the season with a series of special offers and unique opportunities.

The Shilla Seoul
La Yeon
Embracing traditional culinary customs, The Shilla Seoul’s award-winning fine-dining Korean restaurant will present an Autumn menu showcasing the freshest Fall ingredients, including pine nuts, sweet potatoes and seasonal seafood. Diners can choose from various set menus, each one an example of authentic Korean cuisine. At the 2015 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, La Yeon debuted on the list at No.38 and earned the coveted One To Watch award.

The Library
Enjoy Autumn’s leisurely days with Afternoon tea at The Library. With Mt Namsan framed by The Library’s full-length windows, guests can enjoy the picture-perfect views while indulging in a selection of scones, pastries, cakes and various premium teas. The tea menu includes such original flavours as Crème Caramel, Moroccan Mint and ‘Anniversary’, combining Black tea, Mint, Blue Mallow, Marigold Flowers, Rose Petals and Cream and Raspberry flavours.

The Pastry Boutique
The Pastry Boutique embraces French flavours this Autumn with its own interpretation of the Mont Blanc dessert.  The Boutique’s talented chefs offer creative versions of the famous chestnut-filled delicacy by using pistachio and pumpkin.

Sculpture Garden
The Shilla Seoul invites guests to stroll the private Sculpture Garden to appreciate Autumn’s changing landscape and rich-red colours. Aside from the natural beauty, visitors can also admire the 60-plus sculptures dotted throughout the 40,000 sq m Garden.

The Shilla Jeju
Floating Cinema Festival
The Shilla Jeju, Korea’s premium Mediterranean-style resort, invites guests to watch and wade with its season of outdoor movies. As visitors make a splash at the resort’s fully heated outdoor swimming pool, movies will play each evening on a large poolside screen.

Guest Activity Organiser (G.A.O)
The Shilla Jeju’s Guest Activity Organiser (G.A.O) specialises in arranging outings and guiding visitors to experience Jeju’s natural Autumn wonders. The G.A.O manages every detail and accompanies guests on a variety of outdoor activities, including Hallasan mountain hiking, Horseback riding and Sunset Yacht cruising.

Camping and Glamping Village
The Shilla Jeju is the ultimate retreat for nature lovers and Autumn is the perfect season to enjoy outdoor activities. The resort’s Camping Village, featuring onsite barbeques, camping equipment and a children’s playground, allows guests to take full advantage of the idyllic setting.

Guests looking to bring a touch of glamour to the camping experience can choose the Glamping Village. The cabana-style tents comprise a large comfortable sofa, dining table, heater, Galaxy tab, private stereo and a docking station for individual devices. Adding an extra level of luxury, a special lunch and dinner menu is available with chefs preparing dishes at the onsite barbecues. The meal concludes with a delicious live dessert being prepared fresh in front of the guests.
