A LAVISH IFTAR SPREAD FIT FOR A KING AT DEGREES RESTAURANT, SAMA-SAMA HOTEL KL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

As Muslims wait eagerly for the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Degrees Restaurant at the Sama-Sama Hotel KL International Airport is abuzz with the preparations of traditional local, Middle-Eastern and International cuisines. A hearty meal that is sure to satisfy the hunger pangs after a long day of fasting.

Throughout the month of Ramadan, Executive Chef Sivaganesan and his team have created a labyrinth of lavish Iftar or ‘Breaking of Fast’ Buffet menu to appeal to the most discerning of tastes.

Guest can break fast with a variety of local pickles and kick start their appetite with refreshing local salad from kerabu manga, kerabu nangka, acar rampai to famous Arabic falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, fatoosh, and classic international salad such as potato salad, antipasto pasta salad, chicken pasta salad and seafood salad.

Be sure to catch Chefs in action at the live BBQ mobile kitchen. From grilled whole lamb, lamb chop, minute steak, chicken wings to  an assortment of grilled fish, squid, prawns, mussel and crab, the Chefs guarantee that only the freshest ingredients make it to the guest’s plate.

The buka puasa buffet extravaganza showcase over 100 different dishes from Japanese cuisines to Chinese, Western and local delicacies. The old time favourite includes ikan pari assam pedas, daging rendang mamak, sambal udang galah, and ayam kapitan. These dishes will vary each day throughout the whole month to ensure guest enjoy a wholesome traditional local affair.

Guests can round up the culinary journey by heading towards the sweet corner and be spoilt for choices by the vast variety of desserts! The dessert corner will feature a range of popular Malay cakes as well as the much sought after French pastries including banana cheese cake, date crumble, pecan pie, strawberry fruit tartlet and many more!

While you savor the sumptuous Iftar meal, a live traditional Ghazal performance will keep you entertained.

Priced at RM110.00+ per Adult and RM55.00+ per Child, the Buka Puasa Buffet promotion will be available from 6.45pm to 10.30pm at the Degrees Restaurant.

Group booking for private function is also available at a special rate. The groups will be served at a different venue with a minimum of 50 persons.
