RAMADHAN FEAST UNDER THE STARS AT THE SAUJANA HOTEL KL

Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. If you are looking for a unique “buka puasa” dining  experience this Ramadhan, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers a delightful evening of dining amidst lush tropical gardens facing an exquisite view of the Saujana Hotel’s lake and pool. Charmingly lit for a more twilight ambience, this beautiful “al fresco” setting feast on a sumptuous smorgasbord of over 140 traditional and regional Malaysian specialties as well as 15 perennial hawker stall favourites, showcases a melting pot of both local and international flavours. To add to the evening’s enchantment, traditional Ghazal musicians will serenade guests from a custom-made stage over the pool specially built for this occasion.

Using only the finest ingredients and sophisticated preparation techniques guests can savour 5 rotating menus including an immaculate presentation of signature dishes. Whet your appetite on a selection of over 30 types of ulam, kerabu, soups and starter items which include “Kerabu Mangga Muda”, “Kerabu Tempeh”, “Traditional Gado Gado with Rich Peanut Gravy”, “Acar Rampai”, “Lemang Pulut Ketupat with Serunding Ayam or Daging”, “Soup Tulang Gear Box”, and “Bubur Lambuk”. Tantalize your taste buds with a medley of mouthwatering choice of mains such as “Kambing Masak Gulai Kawah”, “Ketam Masak Lemak Chilli Padi”, “Daging Rendang Tok”, “Gulai Masam Ikan Tenggiri with Terung Hijau”, “Udang Masak Tomato”, “Pucuk Ubi Masak Lemak Chilli Api”, and “Daging Masak Asam”. This can be accompanied with a variety of flavoured and aromatic rices such as “Nasi Hujan Panas”, “Nasi Minyak with Kacang Hijau”, “Nasi Kedah” and “Nasi Kaseri” just to name but a few. Also available are a selection of popular Nyonya, Chinese and Western dishes to provide diners with a more extensive global dining experience.

Feast on tantalizing flawless rendition classics of 15 hawker style “Gerai-Gerai” featuring freshly made delights like “Whole Roasted Lamb on an Bed of Fragrant Briyani Rice”, ”Nasi Kerabu Kukus with Rendang Ikan Tongkol”, succulent grilled items like beef and lamb kebab, ”Satay”,  ”Ayam Kolak”, and ”Otak Otak Ikan/Udang”. Savour such timeless Indian favourites like Tosai, Putu Mayam, and Ulutu Vadai (with an assortment of chutneys). Experience delectable Malay and Chinese cuisines like Murtabak, Roti Canai Planta, and Roti Jala (accompanied by a selection of curries) as well as Char Koay Teow, Chicken Rice, and Yong Tau Foo. A plethora of options also includes a pasta and Japanese section. To complete the nostalgic experience, end the night with a gastronomic food overload and check out the “Apam Balik”, the “Cendol”, and the “Ice Kacang” stalls for various lip smacking sweet creations such as Turkish Ice Cream.

Priced at RM115++ for adults and RM57.50++ for children between 6 and 12, this Ramadhan Feast Under The Stars is an experience that should not to be missed!
