WELCOME THE YEAR OF THE HORSE WITH MORE EXQUISITE CULINARY CREATIONS

JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong ushers in  the Lunar New Year  and Year of the Horse with an  array of delicious culinary creationsand seasonal specials  at  Man Ho Chinese Restaurant,  Marriott Café and  The Lounge  as well as  signature festive takeaways, including Man Ho’s ever-popular Lin Gao (Chinese Pudding), from 6 to 30 January 2014.

In addition, the hotel is also pleased to offer a variety of attractive Spring Celebration offers for private and corporate dinner events  from 1 January to 30 April 2014, with choice of sumptuous menus and extra  complimentary  benefits to complement the auspicious festivities.  Packages start from HK$11,688 per table of 10-12 persons.To commemorate the start of the Lunar New Year and to bring forth more well wishes for the coming year, guests can look forward to an exciting lion dance performance at the lobby on 31 January 2014 at 1.08pm sharp as well as a special appearance by the “God of Wealth” to spread more great blessings to one and all.

FOOD & BEVERAGE FESTIVE SUMMARY

MAN HO CHINESE RESTAURANT (LEVEL 3)

From 15 January to 16 February, diners can  take pleasure in  a  selection of specially-created Lunar New Year dishes from the dim sum and a la carte menus  by Executive Chinese Chef, Ip Kwok Fai.  Highlights include steamed pork dumpling with scallop (HK$70  per dish); baked abalone pastry with oyster sauce (HK$90 per piece);  sautéed shrimp with salted egg and pumpkin (HK$330 per dish) and  braised conpoy with pig’s tongue and  sea moss (HK$480 per dish).

MARRIOTT CAFÉ (LEVEL 5)
Feast  on a magnificent spread of seafood, barbecued dishes  and other Asian and international culinary creations, combined with traditional  Lunar New Year dishes from the lunch and dinner buffet menus, from 30 January to 2 February.  Enjoy dishes like  whole suckling pig with hoi  sin sauce served with pancake wrap,  steamed  garoupa  with crab roe sauce,  braised South African abalone with Yunnan ham  sauce as well as  braised dried oyster, sea moss and conpoy with garlic oyster sauce.  A delightful afternoon tea buffet with a variety of Chinese New Year treats is also available.

THE LOUNGE (LOBBY LEVEL)
Savour  a sensational sparkling brunch with unlimited champagne or enjoy a gastronomic ensemble of fine culinary highlights and more tasty festive creations from the afternoon tea buffet. Continue the celebration on the 2ndday of Lunar  New Year with a superb dinner buffet while indulging in the spectacular fireworks display.

FESTIVE TAKEAWAYS  AT MAN HO AND DOLCE 88 
Complement a perfect home celebration  with  Man Ho’s  signature Chinese Lin Gao or Chinese pudding (HK$198 nett  per box) and turnip cake (HK$218  nett per box), for sale from 6 to 30 January. Or delight the family and friends with Dolce 88’s innovative festive goodies, which include  “Firecracker”  cake-  cream cheese mousse, raspberry osmanthus jelly and vanilla sponge; “Mandarin”  cake-  dried Mandarin custard, coconut sago and citrus streusel  as well as assorted chocolate nuts dim-sum  basket and  14-piece  “mahjong”  designed  chocolate box.
