Tealive and Dutch Lady unveil new RTD dairy milk teas

June 25, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Tealive and Dutch Lady have jointly introduced a ready-to-drink (RTD) dairy milk tea range inspired by two well-loved café favourites – milk tea and matcha – bringing café-style taste into a convenient, milk-based format for everyday consumption.

The collaboration between Tealive, Southeast Asia’s top lifestyle tea brand, and Dutch Lady, Malaysia’s leading dairy company, brings café-style beverages to Malaysians in a convenient RTD format. Consumers can now enjoy Dutch Lady x Tealive Signature Milk Tea and Signature Matcha anytime, whether at home, at work and in everyday moments on the go.

MooTea (Signature Milk Tea) and MeowCha (Signature Matcha) are crafted as creamy, dairy beverages rich in calcium and a source of protein, infusing Tealive’s café-style indulgence with Dutch Lady’s long-standing, trusted heritage in dairy nutrition. MooTea delivers creamy milk richness layered with aromatic tea notes reminiscent of classic milk tea, while MeowCha offers a gently earthy matcha character balanced with a smooth dairy finish.

Bryan Loo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, said the collaboration tapped into a deeper consumer trend shift. Malaysians are now rethinking what they drink, when they drink it, where they can get it and how these choices fit into their daily routines.

“Consumers today are looking for beverages that fit naturally into their daily routines without compromising on enjoyment. Milk tea and matcha continue to be enjoyed by consumers across a variety of occasions throughout the day,” he said.

“This collaboration with Dutch Lady allows Tealive to extend beyond our stores and become part of everyday moments at home, at work and on the go, while advancing our aspiration to evolve into a household beverage lifestyle brand.

“What makes MooTea distinctive is how it carries the essence of Tealive’s signature brown sugar profile infused into the dairy and tea experience, giving consumers a taste that feels instantly familiar to Tealive fans while delivering the creamy richness of dairy milk.”

This new dairy milk tea range is anchored on the idea of bertemu, or “to meet”, reflecting how flavours, routines and everyday moments come together. “For us, bertemu is about bringing together the things people enjoy, wherever and whenever they choose to enjoy them,” Loo added.

Veronika Utami, Managing Director of Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad said the collaboration reflected how Dutch Lady has continued to innovate to meet the needs of today’s consumers, bringing together quality nutrition and great taste in a convenient beverage experience that fits naturally into modern lifestyles.

“With a trusted presence in Malaysian households for generations, Dutch Lady continues to strengthen the way we connect with consumers. This collaboration allows us to offer café-style teas in a convenient RTD offering that contains calcium and protein, while meeting the evolving preferences of consumers looking for both enjoyment and convenience,” she said.

The introduction of MooTea and MeowCha comes as consumers increasingly seek convenient beverage options that fit modern lifestyles. RTD dairy beverages continue to gain relevance in daily consumption, driven by their accessibility across retail channels.

As consumers continue to seek greater variety in beverages, collaborations such as this reflect how trusted brands can combine taste, convenience and quality in ways that remain relevant to evolving lifestyles and preferences.

To mark the launch, Dutch Lady and Tealive will host a five-day concourse activation at Sunway Pyramid from 24 to 28 June 2026. The activation will feature a series of interactive zones, hands-on experiences, product sampling, and shareable moments. Visitors can also taste this RTD dairy milk tea range while exploring the experience, bringing to life how indulgent café-style teas and the goodness of milk come together in everyday moments.
