Mid-Autumn Mooncakes 2026 Presented by Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

June 29, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Some nights are made for homecoming, and Mid-Autumn is among the most anticipated occasions. As the year’s fullest moon rises over the harbour, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong welcomes the return of the season’s most cherished ritual with two mooncake collections: an artful new creation and signature favourites from the two-Michelin-starred Lung King Heen, alongside the hotel’s own mooncake set reimagined with the debut of a mochi flavour. Each collection is presented in keepsake packaging designed to be carried well beyond the festival.

A New Flavour from Lung King Heen

Each year, Executive Chinese Chef Chan Yan Tak and his culinary crew reinterpret a familiar tradition through the lens of Cantonese craftsmanship. This Mid-Autumn, they introduce the Lung King Heen Mixed Nuts Mooncakes with Candied Citrus (6 pieces; HKD 628), a thoughtful reimagining of the classic mixed-nut mooncake. An assortment of toasted nuts and seeds is lifted by candied citrus, a Teochew-style preserved citron prized for its mellow, aromatic depth, giving this time-honoured style a fragrant new character.

Joining it is a second refined creation, the White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Black Truffle and Salted Egg Yolk (6 pieces; HKD 668), where earthy black truffle deepens the silken sweetness of white lotus paste. Alongside the new arrivals, Lung King Heen’s enduring signatures return: the Cream Custard Mooncakes with Toasted Pine Nuts (6 pieces; HKD 628), pairing velvety custard with the gentle crunch of toasted pine nuts; and the Preserved Egg and Pickled Ginger Mooncakes (6 pieces; HKD 628), which reimagine the much-loved Cantonese “Century Egg Pastry” in elegant mooncake form.

For those who wish to share the full range, the Assorted Signature Mooncakes box brings together two pieces each of three flavours — Preserved Egg and Pickled Ginger, Mixed Nuts with Candied Citrus and White Lotus Seed Paste with Black Truffle and Salted Egg Yolk (6 pieces; HKD 668). It may also be paired with a Vintage 2009 Mellow Pu’erh Tea Cake ((125 g / 4.4 oz) for HKD 888, an elegant nod to the time-honoured ritual of savouring mooncakes alongside aged tea. The tea cake is available on its own for HKD 438.

Each Lung King Heen collection is presented in a limited-edition canvas bag illustrated with the hotel facade rising amid Hong Kong’s most recognisable landmarks, a keepsake designed for reuse long after the lanterns have come down.

Lung King Heen mooncakes are available for collection from September 10 to 24, 2026 (Cream Custard Mooncakes from September 16). Bulk-purchase savings and delivery are not applicable to Lung King Heen mooncakes.

The Four Seasons Mooncake Returns with New Mini Mochi Flavour

The signature offering from the hotel returns as the Four Seasons Mooncake Set (5 pieces; HKD 498), led this year by a playful newcomer, the Mini Mochi Custard Mooncakes (4 pieces), whose soft, chewy mochi gives way to a warm, velvety custard centre. Paired with this is an enduring classic, the White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with Double Salted Egg Yolk, balancing the new and the familiar in a single box made for sharing across generations.

Each set comes with the Love in Hong Kong tote bag, returning this year in a vivid red, a small tribute to the city the hotel calls home and to packaging designed for reuse. A single-pack White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with Double Salted Egg Yolk (HKD 188) is also available, ideal for corporate gifting.

Bulk-purchase savings of up to 30 percent apply to the Four Seasons Mooncake Set from now until September 18, 2026:

👉5 to 9 boxes: 15 percent savings (HKD 423 each)

👉10 to 49 boxes: 20 percent savings (HKD 398 each)

👉50 to 99 boxes: 25 percent savings (HKD 374 each)

👉100 boxes or more: 30 percent savings (HKD 349 each)

Curated Gift Hampers

For a more generous gesture, the hotel presents three Mid-Autumn gift hampers, each built around the Four Seasons Mooncake Set, Lung King Heen’s homemade XO Sauce and signature tea, and a selection of premium delicacies:

👉Mid-Autumn Gourmet Hamper (9 items; HKD 2,928), featuring superior dried black moss, premium Qinghai goji berries, Dubai dark chocolate, French wine and house-made pastries

👉Mid-Autumn Deluxe Hamper (11 items; HKD 3,988), adding five-head South African abalone and dried conpoy

👉Mid-Autumn Ultimate Hamper (16 items; HKD 12,688), the most lavish selection, further featuring premium dried fish maw, duck foie gras, Château Lascombes Margaux and The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old

Collection and Ordering

The Four Seasons Mooncake Set and gift hampers are available for collection at the Cake Shop from August 7 to September 24, 2026 (hampers from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, with 72 hours’ advance order required). Delivery within Hong Kong is available at HKD 200 (Hong Kong Island), HKD 300 (Kowloon) and HKD 500 (New Territories); delivery is not available for Lung King Heen mooncakes or the outlying islands.
