Crowne Plaza KLCC’s Le Midi Ranked as 2024 TOP 100 Restaurants of the World!

March 1, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre is proud to announce that its French specialty restaurant on the 32th floor, Le Midi has been ranked as “TOP 100 Restaurants of the World 2024” by Luxury Lifestyle Awards—one of the only 2 dining establishments in Malaysia which are recognized with this prestigious accolade.

The TOP 100 Restaurants of the World is an exclusive list celebrating culinary brilliance from every corner of the globe. Latest honorees of the 2024 edition span 44 countries, showcasing a rich tapestry of flavors, techniques, and cultural influences that define the essence of luxury dining today. From the sophisticated elegance of Clos Maggiore in the UK to the groundbreaking artistry of Gaggan Anand Restaurant in Thailand, each establishment has been carefully evaluated and selected for its dedication to culinary perfection. For Malaysia, Le Midi is pleased to shine in this global map of gastronomy alongside Tamarind Springs, Kuala Lumpur.

This award marks Le Midi’s first ever global accolade in less than a year since its opening. Promising an unparalleled dining experience in the heart of the city, Le Midi has been welcoming guests to savour handcrafted cocktails at the bar, delight in traditional French specialties at the brasserie, dine under the stars on the open-air terrace, or host intimate gatherings in the private dining space since 18 March 2024.

“This award is a true testament to the culinary excellence that me and my team have been committing ourselves to since day one. As we march into the restaurant’s second year, I am more eager than ever to introduce more Malaysians to French comfort food that stays true to its origins of French culinary artistry,” remarks Chef Noor Azan bin Hassan, Chef de Cuisine of Le Midi who has close to 20 years of experience in French and European restaurants at five-star hotels around the world.

With masterful culinary dishes from all regions of France, notably the South of France, Le Midi is the epitome of fine dining made with the finest ingredients, from the delicate flavours of artisanal cheeses from Normandy to escargot from Signe to earthy truffles, exquisite caviar, and more.

Le Midi welcomes guests for dinner and drinks at below operation hours:

Tuesday to Friday, from 3PM to 12AM

Saturday & Sunday, from 12PM to 12AM
