Mai Bazar Element!: A Bazar on the Sky with Panoramic Views

February 5, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Element Kuala Lumpur is thrilled to introduce Mai Bazar Element! – a bazar-themed buffet dinner at TRACE Restaurant. Set on Level 40, this unique dining experience offers not only the vibrant flavors of the fasting month but also breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline for a truly memorable evening.

Available from March 1 to 28, 2025, from 6.30 PM to 10.00 PM, the buffet is curated by our talented culinary team, featuring a delightful selection of evening bazar dishes that promise to tantalize the taste buds while evoking the charm of a traditional bazaar.
Start the culinary journey with our signature appetizers, including the traditional Kerabu Warisan Malaysia, a refreshing and tangy salad that showcases the best of local herbs and spices. The flavorful Murtabak Penang offers a savory treat filled with spiced meat and vegetables, perfect for whetting the appetite. The hearty Sup Tiga Sekawan is a trio of soups that includes Sup Tulang, a rich and robust bone broth; Sup Merah Lamb Shank, a spicy and aromatic lamb soup; and Sup Ayam Mamak, a comforting chicken soup with a hint of Indian spices.
Our main dishes are a true highlight, featuring specialties such as Nasi Goreng Dabai, a unique fried rice dish made with the exotic dabai fruit, known for its rich and creamy texture. This dish is perfectly complemented by our homemade Sambal Terong Asam Gula Apong, a bold and flavorful blend of Sarawak sour eggplant and tangy sweetness, enhanced with the distinct taste of nipah palm sugar. The Lamb Briyani is a fragrant and flavorful rice dish cooked with tender lamb and a blend of aromatic spices. Fish Head Curry offers a bold and spicy dish that is a favorite among seafood lovers. Braised Beef Short Ribs with Kerutuk Gravy presents tender beef ribs slow-cooked in a rich and flavorful gravy. Grilled Chicken, marinated with a blend of spices and grilled to perfection, and the tantalizing Assam Pedas Claypot, a spicy and sour fish stew, round out our main course offerings.
Indulge in our bazar favorites, including crispy Cucur Udang, a prawn fritter that is crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Fragrant Nasi Ayam, a classic chicken rice dish, is a must-try. The ever-popular Roti John, a sandwich filled with minced meat and eggs, and refreshing Air Balang, a variety of traditional Malaysian drinks served in large jars, are sure to evoke the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional evening bazar.
End the meal on a sweet note with our delectable desserts. Enjoy Bubur Kacang Hijau, a sweet mung bean porridge, and Bubur Pulut Hitam, a black glutinous rice porridge, both of which offer a comforting and satisfying end to the meal. Baby Pancakes, small and fluffy pancakes, are perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Traditional treats like Pulut Tai Tai, a blue glutinous rice cake; Seri Muka, a layered glutinous rice and pandan custard dessert; and Element’s all-time favorite sweets are also available to delight the palate.
Mai Bazar Element! Dinner Buffet is priced at RM198 nett per adult, with an early bird price of RM148 nett per adult for bookings made on or before March 9, 2025. Marriott Bonvoy, Club Marriott members, as well as certain banks credit card holders will receive a 20% off the dinner buffet.
