February 2, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Gai, the brainchild of Chef Darren Chin and his wife Nana, is setting new standards for Thai cuisine in Malaysia. This exceptional restaurant blends traditional Thai recipes with modern culinary techniques, offering a unique interpretation of Thailand’s rich food culture. Sourcing only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients from Malaysia and Thailand, Gai is a celebration of authentic flavors presented with meticulous care and innovation.

Now, in collaboration with FunNow Malaysia, Gai invites diners to indulge in its A La Carte Buffet, a dining experience that showcases the restaurant’s signature dishes in an all-you-can-eat format. The A La Carte Buffet, available from Tuesday to Sunday, offers both lunch (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM) and dinner (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM) sittings. Perfect for group gatherings or family meals, this buffet combines variety and quality, ensuring a memorable feast for all.

The meal starts with an array of appetizers, each crafted to excite the palate from the Crispy Chicken Skin,to Mieng Kam, Fried Egg Squid with Garlic or even more

Fried Egg Squid with Garlic

We are totally in love with this  Perfectly fried squid with a fragrant garlic twist.

Fried Seabass Fish (Half Fish): Crispy on the outside, tender and moist inside, served with a savory sauce.

Tom Yum with Mixed Seafood: A quintessential Thai soup that’s spicy, sour, and packed with fresh seafood.

Crab Omelette with Jumbo Lump Crab & Runny Duck Eggs: A luxurious, creamy omelette that’s a must-try for first-time visitors.

Sweet Endings

Conclude your meal with traditional Thai desserts, including Coconut Jelly, Kanom Piak Boon and more.

Kanom Piak Boon: A classic dessert with a smooth, silky texture.

Red Ruby: Vibrant, crunchy water chestnuts in a creamy coconut base.
