Berjaya Hospitality Group Clinches Gold at 2024 Putra Aria Brand Awards

February 6, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Berjaya Hospitality Group has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the ‘Transportation, Travel & Tourism’ category at the 2024 Putra Aria Brand Awards. This accolade follows the group’s impressive track record, having previously earned a Bronze Award at the 2021 Putra Brand Awards, a Silver at the 2022 Putra Aria Brand Awards, and another Silver at the 2023 Putra Aria Brand Awards. With the Gold Award in 2024, Berjaya Hospitality Group celebrates its fourth consecutive recognition, as chosen by the people.

Berjaya Hospitality Group has achieved extraordinary growth since opening its first resort in 1985. With 40 years of hospitality excellence, the group now manages and/or operates 34 hotels and resorts across 21 destinations in 8 countries, including Asia, Seychelles, the United Kingdom, and Iceland.

Recently repositioned from Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Berjaya Hospitality Group is poised for significant growth with its curated collection of hotel brands and hospitality investments. With exciting development plans on the horizon, the group is well-positioned to further expand its presence in key holiday destinations worldwide.

“This award is a significant accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated, and we are deeply grateful for the recognition. Thank you to everyone who voted for Berjaya Hospitality Group as one of the most trusted names in travel and hospitality. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all our guests for choosing Berjaya Hospitality Group as their preferred brand for unforgettable holiday experiences,” said Pravir Mishra, the Group General Manager of Berjaya Hospitality Group.

“We at Berjaya Land are deeply honoured by this prestigious recognition, which highlights our unwavering commitment to excellence in hospitality and our role as a transformative force in tourism. This achievement reflects the trust our customers and partners place in Berjaya Hospitality Group and underscores the economic impact we bring by driving tourism growth through exceptional service. It is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team, inspiring us to continue delivering quality experiences that foster lasting partnerships, enhance customer loyalty, and contribute to sustainable business growth,” said Syed Ali Shahul Hameed, Group Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Land Berhad.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards was established in 2022 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) to highlight branding efforts across all segments. Measured by consumer preference growth, the organisation aims to recognise brands’ excellence within the marketing and advertising landscape.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards is also one of the two recognitions endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) as its Brand Champion Partner, supported by the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), the Media Specialists Association (MSA), and the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA).
