Swiss Premium Brand Chocolate – Laderach is now in TRX Exchange

November 7, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Läderach, a renowned Swiss chocolate and confectionery brand founded in 1962 by Rudolf Läderach in Glarus, Switzerland, has been a pioneer in the fine chocolate industry for over six decades. Rudolf’s patented process for producing hollow, ready-made chocolate truffles transformed the chocolate industry, setting a new standard for premium confections.

In 2004, the brand entered the consumer market by acquiring Merkur Confiserie AG, a prominent chocolate retailer, which allowed Läderach to connect directly with chocolate enthusiasts. By 2012, the company expanded further with its first consumer-facing factory in Bilten, located in the scenic Swiss Alps. Now operating over 100 stores in 35 countries, Läderach remains a celebrated name worldwide.

Stepping into Läderach’s TRX Kuala Lumpur location felt like entering a haven of Swiss luxury and indulgence. The store showcases a remarkable variety of handcrafted chocolates, from smooth pralines to intricately designed truffles, each piece crafted to perfection. Our visit was enhanced by the chance to learn about the artisanal processes that make Läderach chocolates unique and to meet the master chocolatier behind the luxury brand. This insight into the chocolate-making journey enriched our appreciation as we sampled a range of their exquisite treats. Each piece embodies the high standards and artistry that Läderach is celebrated for.

The staff’s warmth and expertise added to the experience. They eagerly guided us through the extensive selection, sharing their knowledge with genuine enthusiasm. The elegant packaging complemented the experience, each box enhancing the luxury feel and making every chocolate taste even more exquisite. Läderach at TRX Kuala Lumpur is a destination for chocolate lovers and a perfect place to find a memorable gift or a moment of indulgence. It’s a remarkable fusion of Swiss heritage and modern sophistication, where each bite offers a taste of refined luxury.
