The premium portrait photography midrange flagship HONOR 200 Series has received a new Magic AI update that enhances the user experience along with Bokeh Adjustment, Group Photo Enhance capabilities and an AI Eraser feature.
Custom object focus with Bokeh Adjustment
The new Bokeh Adjustment feature is now available in the HONOR 200 Pro and HONOR 200, enabling users to creatively add in blur effect in photos by adjusting focus and aperture much like a professional camera system. The magic here is that it provides greater flexibility to custom focus a shot to emphasise a different part of an image to create creative masterpieces.
Take appealing ‘wefie’ with Group Photo Enhance
In addition, the AI Group Photo Enhance supports portrait detail enhancement, closed-eye correction, and facial distortion correction to make capturing a fantastic group photo with minimal need for additional shots.
When capturing a ‘wefie’, if someone in the group photo blinks their eyes, a powerful Multi Frame Synthesis technology intelligently corrects it so everyone looks picture perfect. This function only works with the rear camera and is specifically designed for group photos with 2 to 50 people.
Remove unwanted objects with AI Eraser
The new AI Eraser will be added in an update for the HONOR 200 Series this coming mid-September 2024. This feature is capable of intelligently and seamlessly removing objects from a photo that would detract from the beauty of a shot such as passerby, vehicles and more in the background. Objects can be removed manually or automatically to create clean, masterfully captured images.
HONOR 200 Series Redefining Studio-Level Portrait Photography
The HONOR 200 Series leverages the use of the new AI Portrait Engine co-developed in collaboration with Paris-based Studio Harcourt to capture studio-level portrait photography in a compact mobile smartphone form factor.
The series features a 50MP Main camera with the Pro variant integrating a 1/1.3-inch H9000 Main Camera with the standard variant uses a Sony IMX906 sensor. The 50MP Telephoto camera uses a Sony IMX856 sensor and a Dual OIS (OIS+EIS) anti-shake system for steadier images and videos.
In order to ensure superb performance and value the HONOR 200 series uses the latest 120Hz AMOLED displays that have TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Display Certification and the TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display Certification.
For smooth performance, the Pro uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 mobile processor and the HONOR C1+RF enhancement chip while the HONOR 200 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor. Powering the HONOR 200 Series is a large 5,200mAh battery with 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge technology. The Pro come with 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge Wireless charging.
