Nestlé Malaysia Brings Joy to First Set of Weekly Winners of ‘Salary for Life’ Campaign

June 3, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Dreams are already coming true for Malaysians participating in the Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup (‘Salary for Life’) campaign. Nestlé Malaysia has just announced the first list of weekly winners of a cash prize of RM3,500 each. Like all other participants in the campaign, they are also in the running to become one of the eleven finalists that will make it to the Grand Finale, where two of them will earn a RM3,500 monthly salary for the rest of their lives, and the remaining nine will earn a RM3,500 monthly salary for a year.

The campaign runs until 30 June 2024 and all it takes is submitting a purchase proof of at least RM20 of Nestlé products. The more submissions, the more chances to win any of the many daily and weekly prizes not to mention the possibility to participate in the Grand Finale event. In addition to making dreams happen for the lucky winners, through this campaign, like in the 2020 first edition, Nestlé is going to collaborate with 17 charities that will be participating for the grand finale event alongside the contestants.

Sharing the excitement and heartwarming reactions from the group of first weekly winners:

Quotes from weekly winners:

Sri Etty Wachjuningsih, a 55-year housewife from Sandakan, Sabah, shared, “I never expected to be a winner in this contest. Initially, I just tried my luck after being encouraged by an employee at the supermarket who said, ‘Who knows, you might win this time, sister, give it a try.’ I bought my usual products like MILO, MAGGI Kari, and NESTUM, but this time I bought a bit more MILO because I wanted to give them as gifts. When I received the news that I was one of the weekly winners, I was very grateful, though it still feels unreal. This experience shows that it’s never a waste to try.”

Siti Nurul Aida Binti Mohd Sapawi a 32-year small business owner from Terengganu, shared, “I am very glad and excited to have participated in this contest. I submitted many entries, purchasing products like NESCAFÉ, MILO, NESTUM, KOKO KRUNCH and other Nestlé Breakfast Cereals. The wide range of delicious products motivated me to join. When I found out I was one of the ‘Salary for Life’ winners, I was extremely surprised and grateful for the prize given by Nestlé. The money I won will be put into our family’s savings fund. As a drink seller at a pasar malam stall, this prize money means a lot to me and will help me provide for my family.”

Cheok Shu En, a 29-year-old office worker from Pulau Pinang, shared, “I am a loyal Nestlé fan and have been buying their products and entering their contests for ages now. So, when ‘Gaji Seumur Hidup’ came back this year, I thought I would give it a shot and submitted one entry with a purchase of two MILO products, hoping to win. When I first found out I was a winner, I almost thought it was a scam until I confirmed with the organisers! I was overjoyed because this is the first time I’ve won a Nestlé contest, and the prize is a significant amount for me.”

Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup 2024 campaign runs until 30 June 2024 and Nestlé Malaysia is allocating a total of RM4 million to prizes. For more details, please visit www.dearnestle.com.my/gaji-seumur-hidup-2024
