Domino’s Pizza Elevates Ramadan-Raya with the Unveiling of the New Cheese Volcano Sate!

March 31, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

This Ramadan and Raya, Domino’s Pizza is taking the festive experience to new heights with the unveiling of its latest innovation, New Cheese Volcano Sate. Gracing the spotlight at Domino’s Buka Puasa Open House, this limited-time offering served as the heart of the gathering. Building upon the success of the recently launched New Cheese Volcano, this latest creation promises an upgraded experience, making it the ideal pizza for the festive season.

Bringing the nostalgic charm of the kampung atmosphere to the heart of the city, Domino’s Buka Puasa Open House, held at Ruang, Shah Alam on March 26, 2024, welcomed diverse members of the community. Dedicated frontliners, unsung heroes, children of orphanage homes and single mother associations, as well as UiTM students, were among those who gathered. At the event, guests had the privilege of being among the first to savor this new creation, indulging in its flavors as they broke fast together.

Linda Hassan, Group Chief Marketing Officer of Domino’s Pizza Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia, said, “This holy month serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion and togetherness, urging us to strengthen our bonds and offer support to those in need. This is why it brings us immense joy to see our diverse community come together at our Buka Puasa Open House, sharing in the joy of breaking fast and celebrating the blessings of Ramadan together.”

“What’s more, our latest product was an exclusive treat for our guests, as they were among the earliest to try it, coinciding with its launch in stores on the same day. We are delighted to learn that our recently launched Cheese Volcano was a tremendous success, and we aim to extend that experience with our New Cheese Volcano Sate. When one thinks of Ramadan or Raya, sate is among the most craved foods. Driven by our passion for crafting delicious and innovative offerings, we are thrilled to be able to offer the New Cheese Volcano Sate to our customers.” Linda added.

Capturing the essence of Malaysia’s most beloved dish, the New Sate Pizza is available in standard pizza as well as Cheese Volcano. Hand-tossed to perfection, the New Sate Pizza features flavourful chicken or beef chunks marinated in herbs and spices that are perfectly charred and smoky. Each bite is enhanced with a signature satay sauce base, blending sweet and spicy flavors from roasted peanuts.

Adding depth to the flavor experience, the pizza is topped with red fresh onions, crisp Japanese cucumbers and zesty red pickled chillies. Those who can’t get enough of the Cheese Volcano can elevate their experience by opting for the Volcano Cheese Chicken Sate or Volcano Cheese Beef Sate which features a hot liquid cheese dip that’s made from a special cheese sauce and cheddar cheese.

Attendees at the event were also treated to a plethora of stalls offering traditional delicacies typically savored during the Ramadan and Raya period. From ketupat, lemang, nasi lemak, and sate to a delightful array of Raya cookies and other goodies, guests were spoiled for choice and enjoyed the vibrant culinary offerings.  Additionally, there were also complimentary hair-cut services for men to ensure they looked their best during Hari Raya celebrations. These stalls were manned by special vendors, unsung heroes from the community, widely known for their generous traits. As a gesture of giving back and acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the community, Domino’s Pizza selected them as vendors at the Buka Puasa Open House.

The New Sate Pizza is available in Regular, Large and Xtra Large sizes whereas the New Cheese Volcano Sate comes in Large and Xtra Large. For greater value, customers can opt for takeaways to enjoy the New Sate Pizza and New Cheese Volcano Sate at an incredible 50%. This offer is available on any day of the week!
