Berjaya Hotels & Resorts Wins A Silver In 2023 Putra Aria Brand Awards

January 26, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has received a silver award in the ‘Transportation, Travel & Tourism’ category at the recent Putra Aria Brand Awards winner announcement ceremony. The hotel group had previously won a bronze in the same category at the Putra Brand Awards 2021 and a silver at the 2022 Putra Aria Brand Awards. By bagging a silver for 2023, it marks the third time for Berjaya Hotels & Resorts to receive such prestigious recognition, as chosen by the people.

Hailed as the number one homegrown hospitality brand in Malaysia, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has grown by leaps and bounds since the opening of its first hotel in 1985. Currently, the group operates 34 hotels and resorts across 21 destinations in 8 countries, spanning Asia, Seychelles, the United Kingdom, and Iceland, with further expansion plans underway at key holiday destinations around the world.

“We are truly honoured that Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has been voted and chosen to receive this accolade. This recognition is a significant achievement for our group, and we are delighted to be acknowledged and positioned among other key players and top brands in Malaysia,” said Pravir Mishra, the Group General Manager of Berjaya Hotels & Resorts.

“My sincere gratitude to everyone who voted for Berjaya Hotels & Resorts as one of the most trusted names in travel and hospitality. This demonstrates consumer confidence, recognising the brand for providing quality accommodations and exceptional services for travellers. We would also like to extend our heartiest appreciation to all our guests for choosing Berjaya Hotels & Resorts as part of their holiday experience.”

“This prestigious recognition not only enhances our brand reputation but also has the potential to attract a wider customer base, increasing patronage and revenue. The award serves as a powerful marketing tool, setting us apart in a competitive market and instilling confidence in potential clients. Additionally, the positive publicity and heightened visibility generated by this achievement can lead to partnerships, collaborations, and overall business growth. We appreciate the economic opportunities that this award presents and remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service that garnered such esteemed recognition,” expressed Syed Ali Shahul Hameed, Group Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Land Berhad.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards was established in 2022 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) to highlight branding efforts across all segments. Measured by consumer preference growth, the organisation aims to recognise brands’ excellence within the marketing and advertising landscape.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards is also one of the two recognitions endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) as its Brand Champion Partner, supported by the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), the Media Specialists Association (MSA), and the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA).
