Miracle Coffee reveals Singapore flagship at lobby of the iconic ArtScience Museum

December 1, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

The highly anticipated Miracle Coffee flagship café, an exclusive partnership between Marina Bay Sands and award-winning homegrown pop superstar JJ Lin, will finally anchor on home ground at the lobby of ArtScience Museum on 6 December 2023 and open to public from 4pm.

Following a year-long prelude through a drinks-only pop-up at the outdoor Rain Oculus, Miracle Coffee has been winning over coffee lovers in Singapore with its range of signature brews made using specialty single origin coffee beans, including the Singapore-exclusive Kaya Cloud. This time, fans can look forward to an all-new food menu starring locally inspired sandwiches and salads, freshly baked croissants and danishes, as well as whimsical cakes, created in collaboration with Marina Bay Sands’ Executive Pastry Chef Hoi Kuok I.

Miracle Coffee’s flagship is designed by award-winning Singaporean design firm Parable Studio, which was also behind the former outdoor pop-up’s unique facade. An expression of the brand’s ethos that intersect the art of drip coffee making, technology and culture, the flagship café features a modern sleek counter with clean lines, surrounded by a curation of modern Scandinavian furniture expressing wood and steel base materiality. Above the counter, a parametric cloud installation floats to complement the museum’s lobby interiors.

The unveiling of this flagship café also marks a milestone for Miracle Coffee as it celebrates six years since the concept was established in 2017 in Taiwan. A nod to JJ Lin’s music belief “If Miracles Had A Sound”, Miracle Coffee encourages everyone to revel in ‘daily miracles’ through savouring coffee, an accessible touchpoint in the lives of many.

More than just a café: Tune in to the first edition of ‘The Miracle Lab’

This grand opening on 6 December also kicks off The Miracle Lab, a sharing platform for coffee enthusiasts to connect over conversations around coffee and innovation. The first edition of the series will feature a panel helmed by Miracle Coffee and locally renowned coffeemakers Equate, Glyph and Homeground to discuss various topics, from roasting techniques to brewing methods and sustainability practices. The private event will be extended virtually to members of the public to tune in on Instagram Live @jjlin and @miraclecoffeesg on its opening day at 1pm.

“I am truly thankful for everyone’s support for Miracle Coffee over the past year. Just like how ArtScience Museum’s heart beats at the intersection of art and science, we hope Miracle Coffee will be a vibrant hub for coffee lovers to revel in the wonders of coffee and innovation. Through The Miracle Lab, we are excited to bring coffee culture to the next level by introducing cross genre collaborations with unique communities from time to time,” said JJ Lin.

In the spirit of giving back this holiday season, the three coffee roasters will also collaborate with Miracle Coffee to create limited-time special brews to raise funds for Metta Welfare Association, a designated charity of the integrated resort. From 6 to 10 December, sales from the special coffee flight of four brews will go to charity, and Marina Bay Sands will further match dollar-for-dollar the amount of money raised.

Miracle Coffee will open its doors to the public on 6 December, from 4pm to 7pm. From 7 December, the café will operate daily from 10am to 7pm, in line with ArtScience Museum’s operating hours.
