In August, clinical research results demonstrating the safe and effective improvement of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms through the consumption of red ginseng oil were published in the prestigious international academic journal The World Journal of Men’s Health.
The joint research group between Prof. Kim Sae-Woong from the Department of Urology at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital and Korea Ginseng Corporation(KGC) announced research findings that consuming red ginseng oil extracted from JUNG KWAN JANG’s RXGIN can safely and effectively improve symptoms of BPH.
Prof. Kim said, “Consuming red ginseng oil not only significantly improves BPH symptoms but also enhances the side effects associated with conventional prostate treatments.” He emphasized that there were no adverse reactions observed in patients, underscoring the significance of red ginseng oil as a safe and effective solution for BPH.
The corporation, after five years of research on red ginseng oil starting in 2018, confirmed its positive contribution to men’s prostate health. The product received official recognition as a functional ingredient from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and obtained patent registration.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia or prostate enlargement, is a condition where an enlarged prostate compresses the urethra, causing various urinary symptoms. It occurs due to hormonal and growth factor imbalances associated with aging. The prevalence of this condition increases with age, leading to symptoms such as urgency, nocturia, and dysuria, significantly impacting the quality of life.
JUNG KWAN JANG’s prostate health functional food, “Red Ginseng Oil RXGIN Clean,” is made from precious red ginseng oil, which needs one root to produce 0.05 grams of oil. To produce one capsule (502 mg), ten roots of red ginseng are required.
Launched in Korea on August 31, Red Ginseng Oil RXGIN Clean sold 3,000 sets on the first day of official launch, and within just 13 days, the initial batch was sold out in most stores. This represents the fastest sales pace among all new JUNG KWAN JANG products.
