It’s “Prost!” at Resorts World Genting as Starlight Festival 2023 takes centre-stage this September!

September 13, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

As we dive into the month of September, Resorts World Genting transforms into a glorious and exuberant showcase of festive entertainment and cheer under the stars! Raise a glass to gemutlichkeit and bring out the dirndls and lederhosen as Starlight Festival, a much-loved open-air carnival that combines resplendent lighting and decorations, amazing eats and scintillating music and live performances returns to add zest and plenty of excitement to your weekends!

Spotlighting Madison Square as the main hub for unparalleled entertainment, Starlight Festival 2023 will take place over 4 electrifying weeks from 6pm till 12am every Thursday till Saturday from 14 September till 7 October 2023.

Make a bee-line for the gigantic LED-lit star-shaped entrance of Madison Square as you stroll down Gohtong Way. As dusk envelopes and the night air turns cool and crisp, the grand marquee decked out in tavernesque splendour comes alive, awash in a stunning kaleidoscope of technicolour. Surrender to the pulsating beats and infectious joie de vivre of the festival beneath a cloak of stars as the event kicks into high gear and live music and entertainment take centre-stage! Sip on frothy Danish beer as you relax and unwind. Hearty Bavarian-style indulgences such as crispy pork knuckle, onion rings and grilled German sausages are menu du jour.

Starlight Festival 2023 promises a sensational line-up of musical acts for the duration of the festival. Kicking off the first week (14-16 Sept) of live performances is opening act, Raymond Ng and party band, Alan S. and Lenny on 14 September, whilst Kenny Low and Elva takes centre-stage with Best of Cantopop, supported by Alan S. & Lenny on 15 September and Alan & Min on 16 September, accompanied by the sick beats of DJ Felix and MC Richard. Week 2 (21-23 Sept) sees Winnie Goh and Lyee Cheok kicking things off with supporting acts, Kelson Ng & Min on 21-23 September; and Alex and Daniel cranking up the Best of Wubai on 22 September and Best of Mayday on 23 September, accompanied by the stylistic tunes of DJ Felix and MC LadyAnna from 21 till 22 September and DJ LadyAnna and MC Milli on 23 September. Starlight presents Beyond Tribute in Week 3 (28-30 Sept) with headlining acts, Sharon Wong on 28 September and Beyond Tribute by Kai on 29 and 30 September, supported by party band, Alan S. & Lenny together with DJ LadyAnna and MC Milli. Wrapping up the festivities in Week 4 (5-7 Oct) are headlining acts, Ena Hon and Boon Ong on 5 October and FABBA and Beatlemania on 6 and 7 October with supporting acts, Justin & Lenny and Justin & Min from 5 till 7 October together with rave music accompaniments by DJs Reeve, Wasabi, Maq, Amber Na and Jenna.
