Introducing Sprite® Lemon+: Latest Sprite Innovation in Malaysia Featuring Extra Zesty Lemon Flavour and Vitamin B3 Boost

Coca-Cola Malaysia invites all Malaysians to stay cool and embrace refreshment with the unveiling of its latest innovation in Malaysia under the Sprite portfolio – Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar. Combining the iconic flavour of Sprite with an energising burst of zesty lemon flavour and vitamin B3, the product launch aligns with the first-ever global brand platform of Coca-Cola, the ‘Heat Happens, Think Zesty’ Campaign.

Malaysia joins a selected number of markets trying out the latest innovation of the brand, the Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar. This newest variant elevates refreshment to the next level, with the added ‘bite’ of zesty lemon soda and additional vitamin B3. It is the perfect choice for everyone, providing a much-needed invigoration for a refreshing pause amidst struggles.

Rina Surya, Frontline Marketing Director, Coca-Cola expressed her enthusiasm, stating that, “Sprite has always been a popular source of daily refreshment among its fans and consumer across the globe. With the introduction of Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar, we are elevating the experience of refreshment to the next level, encouraging people to stay cool and stay on top of their games.”

The ‘Heat Happens, Think Zesty’ Campaign targets Gen Z and office workers who encounter mental overload in their daily lives and are seeking for invigoration – whether in pursuit of their studies or finding the perfect balance between work and life. The Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar enhanced with extra vitamin B3 offers an ideal option for a revitalizing break.

 

As part of the main highlight of the launch event which took place at the 7-Eleven Flagship Store in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Daniel Cheang and Izzrin Irfan – two well-known lifestyle content producers and social media influencers, provided a unique “pep talk” session for the audience. The duo candidly shared their personal experiences representing the newer generations in dealing with moment of daily struggles, such as encountering mental roadblock, pressures in work and finance related matters, as well as the demands of social dynamics.

The ‘Heat Happens, Think Zesty’ Campaign ushers in a new age of marketing experiences for Sprite enthusiasts and consumers alike, with engagement and trial at its core, this marketing venture encompasses social media channels, online films, interactive experiential and sampling booths, and strategically positioned out-of-home marketing at key city landmarks.

Starting from 1 September 2023, Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar will be available for all Malaysians to enjoy. Consumers can make purchase at leading supermarkets, convenience stores, and specialty shops throughout Malaysia. Online shoppers can also find Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar on popular e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee.
