Element Kuala Lumpur x Tilley: Pink Up The Skies This October

September 19, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Sip your tea, savor your treats, and support a good cause this Pink October at Element Kuala Lumpur’s scenic restaurant on the 40th floor, TRACE Restaurant & Bar.

In support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel is proud to collaborate with Tilley, Australia’s oldest manufacturer of soap, scented soy candles and home fragrance products, in presenting the ‘Pink Up The Skies’ high tea set for the entire month of October 2023. The Hotel is also teaming up with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Pink Unity, a support group for women cancer survivors under the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), to jointly raise breast cancer awareness.

Pink-Themed Tea Treats

Curated by TRACE’s culinary team led by Executive Chef Taib Ridhwan and Sous Chef Hasrul Hawari, the decadent tea set features 6 types of savory delicacies and 5 types of rose-tinted sweets that are bound to please both the eyes and taste buds. Highlights include the Blinis with Raspberry Cream Cheese and Rose Infused Caviar, BBQ Pulled Beef Short Ribs Tortilla Wrap, Rose Pana Cotta with Strawberry Cream Cheese, and Pink-Coated Red Velvet Popsicle.

Each set for 2 person is priced at RM148 nett, and inclusive of a hot pot of Dilmah tea.

Free Gifts for Marriott Bonvoy Members

As the cherry on top, Marriott Bonvoy members who enjoy this collaborative high tea set will receive exclusive gifts from Tilley worth up to RM110 with each tea set. Meanwhile, patrons who are not a member yet are invited to join on-the-spot and take home the precious gifts.

First 30 Pre-Orders with Full Payment: 400ml Tahitian Frangipani Wash & Lotion Twin Pack (worth RM110/set)

Succeeding Reservations: 45ml Hand & Nail Cream x 2 (worth RM60/set)

The perks do not just end here — each tea set will also come with a RM50 cash voucher for spa treatments at Serenity by POSH, a luxurious spa perched on the 39th floor of the Hotel, just a lift button away from TRACE. Patrons can make use of this offer to indulge in a leisurely afternoon complemented by high tea and spa, a combination made in heaven.

*While stock lasts.

Team Up for a Good Cause

A Pink October collaboration will not be complete without advocating and raising the awareness of breast cancer among women, and encouraging them to step up their efforts in early detection of breast cancer. With this in mind, the Hotel has joined forces with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Pink Unity, a support group for women cancer survivors under the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) in its recent media event, giving the attendees first-hand sharing from both renowned breast surgeon, Dr. Azlina Firzah, and breast cancer survivors’ perspectives.

Moreover, the Hotel endeavors to support Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur’s ‘Wear It Pink’ Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, including the subsidized breast screening packages at its Breast Care Centre from only RM140, available between now and 31 December 2023.
