Vietjet grows India network with new Ho Chi Minh City – Kochi direct service

August 25, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Vietjet continues with its network expansion plans into India with the launch of its inaugural Ho Chi Minh City – Kochi direct flight. This flight marks the first and only direct service from Vietnam to India’s Kerala state and Southwest India’s ancient port.

With four return flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, this five-hour flight per way is all set to unlock seamless travel between the two countries while boosting tourism and economic development.
The flights are scheduled to depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 19:20 and arrive in Kochi at 22:50, while the return flights depart from Kochi at 23:50 and land in Ho Chi Minh City at 6:40 (all local time).
This is great news for passengers to and from Kuala Lumpur and Kochi as this new flight option will give travelers more flexibility and affordable flight options. Operating on a daily basis, passengers from Kuala Lumpur can fly direct to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
With the commencement of this new route to Cochin International Airport and the newly-announced Ho Chi Minh City – Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) service, the airline will be operating a total of 35 Vietnam-India flights every week, covering eight direct services from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to India’s major cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Tiruchirappalli.
To celebrate this launch, Vietjet is offering promotional tickets from just USD0 (exclusive of tax and fees) all-in every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for Ho Chi Minh – Kochi services and all routes between Vietnam and international destinations. This includes the Kuala Lumpur – Ho Chi Minh City route from now until December 31, 2023.
Get your pocket-friendly tickets now at www.vietjetair.com or via the Vietjet Air mobile app. The travel period for the promotion is valid until March 31, 2024 (excluding public holidays).
Travelers from Kerala and the Southwest of India can now fly easily to Ho Chi Minh City and get connecting flights to destinations across Vietnam such as Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Ha Noi, Nha Trang, or to other top Asia-Pacific destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Jakarta, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Busan, Hong Kong, Taipei and others.
