ONE OF SOUTHEAST ASIA’S LARGEST KIDS’ CLUBS OPENS AT HYATT REGENCY DANANG RESORT & SPA

June 16, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa has reaffirmed its status as Vietnam’s leading five-star family lifestyle resort with the opening of its newly reimagined and expanded Camp Hyatt, one of Southeast Asia’s largest kids’ clubs, which now covers an incredible 3,655m² and will help children make memories that last a lifetime.

Nestled within the resort’s lush tropical gardens, overlooking Non Nuoc Beach on Vietnam’s stunning central coast, Camp Hyatt now comprises 305m² of indoor play areas and 3,350m² of outdoor space, including aquatic splash zones, exhilarating aerial experiences, immersive activities, arts & crafts and more, all inspired by the Earth’s elements and Vietnam’s myths and legends.

Created by Kingsmen, the storytelling design company, the new-look Camp Hyatt features four distinct indoor and outdoor play zones: Earth, Water, Fire and Wood. The Earth Zone is an inviting indoor space based on the tale of the dragon’s egg. Ideal for younger children, this colorful play area includes a toddler play pit, slides, a mini playground and more, plus plenty of books, games and toys to keep little ones entertained. Stepping outdoors, the Water Zone will plunge youngsters into an aquatic world of wonder with a water obstacle course. The Fire Zone, which is illustrated by hot magna flowing down the side of Fire Mountain, features an exciting outdoor zip line challenge, and the Wood Zone explores the famous Vietnamese story of Chim Lac, a mythical bird, and features outdoor adventures including canopy swings, slides and climbing nets.

Little guests will also have a daily schedule of activities to keep them fully engaged throughout their stay, including authentic Vietnamese arts & crafts. Kids can unleash their creativity with sessions such as t-shirt painting, ceramic art, fairy necklace making, DIY dream catchers, origami, keyring making, DIY bracelets and more! Children can also uncover traditional skills like paper lantern making and non la (Vietnamese conical hat) decoration.

The professional and passionate team at Camp Hyatt will introduce kids to the rich history of Vietnam with a series of “forgotten” games. Fun and interactive, these sessions – which are played on the resort’s lawns or on the soft, sandy beach – will help even the shyest children to join in and make new friends.

The new Camp Hyatt forms part of an extensive renovation of Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, which has also included the launch of Vive Oceane, Danang’s first beach club restaurant, Osteria al Mare, the rebranded Italian dining destination with an enhanced culinary concept, Terrasse, a new outdoor social venue, upgraded beachfront pool villas and a new art gallery.

“For children, family holidays are among life’s most precious moments. They provide the opportunity to make new discoveries, learn about different cultures, meet other kids and create lifelong memories. Our new Camp Hyatt is a fantastic new facility that will inspire young guests with the myths, legends and traditions of Vietnam, while also keeping them active, outdoors and away from the screen. I am sure that children and parents will love our revitalized Camp Hyatt,” said Adrian Pulido, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa.

All kids staying at Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa and aged 4-12 years are entitled to two hours’ access to Camp Hyatt each day free-of-charge, and a babysitting service is available upon request.

Under the resort’s “Family Package,” parents can also save up to 20% when they book a vacation at this leading five-star family beachfront resort. Rates start from USD 1,000 net per two nights in a Two Bedroom Residence. Guests who stay in one of the resort’s stylish and luxurious villas will be treated to daily breakfast, a family pizza-making class, round-trip airport transfers, VND 500,000 F&B credit (about 21 USD), and 20% discounts on laundry, dining and drinks at all outlets (except Baguette and in-room dining). Nestled on 700 metres of soft sand on Vietnam’s central coast, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa is a five-star family resort that features 198 rooms and suites, 144 one- to three-bedroom residences and 18 three-bedroom villas, plus five outdoor pools, a fitness center, spa, and a diverse selection of restaurants and bars.
