Unboxing the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G

April 6, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

One of the things that sets OnePlus apart from its competitors is its commitment to listening to its customers’ feedback. The company has made a point of incorporating user suggestions into its product development process, resulting in devices that are tailored to meet the needs of its customers. This approach has earned OnePlus a legion of loyal fans, who appreciate the brand’s willingness to go the extra mile to deliver high-quality products that meet their needs.

And this time, OnePlus has come up with a new device with the tagline “larger than life.” We were lucky enough to get our hands on one of these devices early, and we were excited to share our unboxing experience with you.

As we opened the box, we were greeted with the sleek and stylish design that OnePlus is known for. The device itself had a beautiful, large screen that really lived up to the “larger than life” tagline.

Design  & Performance

The new OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G offers the signature fast and smooth experience that OnePlus is known for, along with a design that’s sure to turn heads. The device is available in a fresh Pastel Lime color and features a charming two-circle camera layout.

At the heart of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, providing a smooth and immersive viewing experience. With a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4%, the device offers an impressive display that’s easy to read even under bright sunlight, thanks to a peak brightness of 680 nits.

Powering the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is the Snapdragon 695 mobile chipset, delivering excellent CPU and GPU performance. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, providing ample space for all your apps and media files.

Out of the box, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G runs on OxygenOS 13, a skin-based version of Android 13 that offers a clean and intuitive user experience.

Camera

The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone boasts an improved imaging system with a new 108MP main sensor. This massive sensor utilizes 9-in-1 pixel binning technology to deliver high-quality images with better details and sharpness. Additionally, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) helps to capture lossless images even at 3x zoom, providing greater flexibility for capturing different types of shots.

The main camera is complemented by two other sensors and an LED flash, including a 2MP (f/2.4) depth camera and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera. These additional sensors enable users to take stunning portraits with a blurred background, and capture fine details in close-up shots.

For selfies and video calls, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is likely to feature a 16MP front shooter. This front camera is expected to deliver high-quality selfies with natural colors and accurate skin tones.

Battery

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone is set to offer impressive battery life, thanks to its 5,000mAh battery pack. This large battery capacity ensures that users can enjoy extended usage time without worrying about running out of power.

In addition to the large battery capacity, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G also features 67W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. This allows the device to charge quickly and efficiently, so users can spend less time charging and more time using their smartphone.

Colours

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone is not only packed with impressive features and specifications but is also aesthetically pleasing. It is now available in a new Pastel Lime color option, which adds a refreshing touch to the device.

This bright shade of green stands out from the typical smartphone color options and is sure to catch the eye of users looking for a unique and stylish device. The Pastel Lime color option complements the phone’s sleek design, which includes a simple yet charming two-circle camera layout and a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Alongside the launch of the phone,  OnePlus has not only launched the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone but has also released a new set of earbuds to complement it. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is the latest addition to the company’s audio lineup and features a design language similar to its predecessor. We will review more about The Buds more in our detailed review.
