Our First Impression : The Galaxy A34 5G

April 15, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Looking at the first sight, the phone is impressive and give me a touch of elegance. The Galaxy A34 is Samsung’s latest entry-level mid-ranger to enter this saturated phone segment. Its predecessor, the Galaxy A33, was already a great handset that proved to be one of the best among its rivals in 2022.

Design

With the first look, the Galaxy A34 resemble its flagship phones as much as possible and it comes with the beautiful and clean touch of it.  It comes with the back panel which is made out of plastic but it doesn’t look like one and brings you with the matte-like experience.

The Samsung A34 comes light in size and the design is simply beautiful. It comes with the massive size where Galaxy A34 is much larger than the A33 from last year, and even larger than the A54 too.

The device has a SIM tray on top with speakers, mics and a USB-C port at the bottom and power and volume buttons at the right. The device has an IP67-rated build, making it dust and water-resistant

Display & Performance

The phone comes with the massive 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2340×1080 pixels in resolution. The display itself got a massive upgrade too. It now has 120Hz refresh rate. The maximum possible brightness on this device is also impressive. I used this phone under the bright sun and I can clearly see what’s on the screen.  As for the processor , it comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset to the A34.

Camera

As for the Camera, the Samsung A34 brings you with the has a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. As for the primary sensor, it takes decent shots in outdoor conditions with enough sharpness and detailing,

 Battery

As for the battery, the A34  is packed with the same 5,000mAh capacity as last year, too, with 25W charging.

What it inside

The Samsung Galaxy A34 box completes with the A Galaxy A34 5G, A USB-C to USB-C cable, Sim ejector tool and Documentation
