Go (Coco)Nutty for Tropical Treats at Sangkaya’s Brand New Signature Cafe in Langkawi!

December 13, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Homegrown organic ice cream brand, Sangkaya proudly introduces the one and only Sangkaya Signature Cafe, now making a grand splash along the scenic Cenang Beach in Langkawi! Tourists and local islanders can now take in the ocean view while enjoying Sangkaya’s signature series of cooling coconut ice creams, crispy croffles, refreshing coconut lattes, as well as special pastries only available at this 2,000 sq ft tropical wonderland located right in front of Cenang Mall.

Cool down from the island heat with Sangkaya’s signature ice creams — now available in cones, jumbo cones, cups, and even waffle bowls. Savour the familiar local flavours of Pandan, Gula Melaka, and the superfruit Coconut that are certain to put a smile on every Malaysian’s face! For those after a taste of nostalgia instead, Milo Dinosaur and Horlicks Signature are classic flavours guaranteed to bring ice cream lovers on a trip down memory lane.

Dessert enthusiasts who prefer richer and deeper flavours can opt for Sangkaya’s two new exclusive ice cream bowls — Royale Popcorn and Brownie Signature — bound to have palates buzzing with joy. Topping off the cafe menu is a buttery spiced wonder to match the soft sand of the beach, the Biscoff Signature ice cream.

Craving for a heavier delight? All ice cream scoops can be paired with the cafe’s selection of pastries, baked to crispy yet fluffy perfection! Walk out from the cold ocean waters and enjoy warm golden croffles drizzled with caramel, or the flaky goodness of the original buttery croissant. For those longing for a great chocolatey taste, pair up a coconut ice cream with a big brownie block that would leave even Willy Wonka speechless. If visitors seek simplicity instead, fresh doughnuts will surely hit the spot.

To add balance to this sweet enchantment, visitors can quench their thirst with lightly bitter, freshly brewed authentic coconut coffees, be they hot, cold, or shaken. Savour the taste of Malaysia’s rich local treasure in Sangkaya’s Coffee Gula Melaka, standing loud and proud among the americanos and lattes. The cafe also boasts a sweet line-up of syruped coffees, such as the Hazelnut Latte, Caramel Latte, Caramel Coffee Shake, and Mocha Chip Shake.

In addition to this, Sangkaya’s plentiful milkshake flavours are perfect for non-coffee drinkers, refreshing from the very first sip. Aside from the original Coconut shake, explore a variety of tantalising flavours such as Gula Melaka, Mango, Chocolate, Matcha, Strawberry, Gula Apong, Chipsmore, Biscoff Caramel, and many more!

Delivering a unique dessert experience by the beach, the Sangkaya Signature Cafe is nestled within the neon dreamland of Happy Museum. The space is designed to be a welcome repose for beachgoers of all ages, from family outings to friend meet-ups!

Best visited at night, the space includes five luminous zones with neon-lit backgrounds, sculptures, and an open rooftop space to lepak with your friends while you enjoy Sangkaya’s scrumptious delights. Included in this space is also an Instagram-worthy 4D dining environment for you to melt into the wondrous flavours of Sangkaya’s entire appetising menu.

Enthusiastic about this launch, Keon Tan, General Manager of Sangkaya shares: “The Sangkaya team proudly welcomes everyone to the beach paradise of our very first signature cafe! With the tagline “nuts about coconuts”, rather than just a place to eat ice cream, we wanted to make this a whole experience — come to our cafe, soak up the beachside vibes, enjoy our limited edition menu, and make it a trip to remember by capturing those joyful moments at Happy Museum. In all its exciting neon wonder, the signature cafe turns into a 4D dining experience zone, which we hope will be the sweet highlight of your trip to Langkawi!”

Sangkaya’s special range of ice creams and sweet treats at this one-of-a-kind cafe are available just outside Cenang Mall starting today. Early birds can also redeem a free entrance ticket to Happy Museum worth RM20 with the purchase of any Sangkaya signature menu item until 31 December 2022.

To kickstart the grand launch celebrations, Sangkaya is treating ONE lucky winner to an all-expenses-paid 3D2N Langkawi escapade! The island stay at a 5-star hotel will also come with a pair of complimentary tickets to Sangkaya Signature Cafe (with RM100 worth of Sangkaya voucher credits) and the picture-perfect neon paradise Langkawi Sweetpass.

To stand a chance at winning this getaway, Sangkaya enthusiasts only need to post a photo of themselves with a Sangkaya item at any Sangkaya outlet, plus a caption on why they want to visit the Sangkaya Signature Cafe in Langkawi. Don’t forget to include #CocoNuttyLangkawiHoliday and #SangkayaLangkawi hashtags in those captions!

Aside from the exciting grand prize, an additional consolation prize of RM 100 Sangkaya vouchers will also be given to 10 lucky winners, to be redeemed at any Sangkaya outlet! The competition is currently running until 28 February 2023.

The Sangkaya Signature Cafe now opened to the public starting and is located right in front of Cenang Mall at Jalan Pantai Chenang, Kampung Lubok Buaya, Langkawi, Kedah. The opening hours are from 3pm to 12am, every day of the week.
