Celebrate a heartwarming Christmas season this December, as Royal Plaza on Scotts invites you to witness the hotel’s record-breaking attempt to create Singapore’s largest Bread-and-Butter Pudding Heart!
Taking place on Saturday, 3 December 2022 from 12pm onwards, the event – ‘Heart for Charity’ – is the first of a series of festive fund-raising activities under the hotel’s ‘A Heartwarming Christmas’ month-long charity drive, organized in partnership with Community Chest.
The hotel will use over 450 portions of its signature Bread-and-Butter Pudding to set a new record by arranging the dessert in the shape of a giant heart. When complete, the heart will measure a hefty 4 m by 4.5 m, the largest ever in Singapore.
Mr Patrick Fiat, General Manager and Chief Experience Officer, said, “We recognize that Christmas is a special time and we are glad to partner Community Chest once again, as we focus on supporting the charity’s beneficiaries with this meaningful event, while celebrating the festive holidays.”
After the record has been verified by the Singapore Book of Records, members of the public will be invited buy the individual portions of the Bread-and-Butter Pudding used to assemble the giant heart. As a gesture of goodwill, Royal Plaza on Scotts will also be sponsoring a lucky draw to pick donors to win vouchers from Royal Plaza on Scotts, including a grand prize of a 2D1N stay at the hotel.

A Christmas Wish (Month-long, from 1 December)
Time to get creative! Pledge a nominal S$5 donation in exchange for a ‘Christmas Wish’ card, available at the festive pop-up booth located at Royal Plaza on Scotts. Write your wish on the card, decorate it as you please, snap a picture and post it to Instagram with the hashtag #RPXmasWish. At the end of the campaign, Royal Plaza Scotts will randomly pick three of the wishes posted online and make the Christmas wishes come true!
Silent Auction (Weekly from 2 to 23 December)
Bid for a staycation in our online silent auction! Starting at a minimum bid of S$98nett, the auction will run every weekend from Friday to Monday, and the top three winning bids every week will walk away with a 2D1N staycation in a Premier Room at Royal Plaza on Scotts. Christmas Day Lunch (25 December)
To round up the charity drive, Royal Plaza on Scotts’ award-winning buffet restaurant Carousel will also pledge all proceeds from its Christmas Day Lunch to the cause. Guests who may want to contribute further may also make their own private donations directly to Community Chest when dining at Carousel any time during the month of December, via QR codes provided in the restaurant.
