A MAGICAL FESTIVE SEASON AWAITS AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MARRAKECH

November 21, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

This year, Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech invites guests to experience the holidays with a touch of Moroccan charm and unwrap a finely curated festive programme with entertaining activities that suit all ages.

In keeping with tradition, an Advent calendar will count down with festive surprises every day during the month of December. A daily lucky draw at The Tent will offer participants the chance to win a wonderful gift or even a stay in one of the hotel’s stunning villas.

At the heart of the lobby, an impressive Christmas Tree, designed exclusively for Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech by renowned designer Ludovic Petit, will be erected on 1 December. From 23 December, a jubilant choir will be singing a heart-warming collection of Christmas songs in support of children at the Atlas Kinder association, with donations going towards classroom supplies, meals and other crucial causes.

Guests will sample an array of festive culinary delights including multi-course tasting menus, a Mandarin Oriental Christmas log, an immersive Winter Wonderland at The Tent, bespoke in-villa Christmas dinners from 20 December and more. Shirvan and Ling Ling by Hakkasan will also host lavish Christmas Brunches and offer curated New Year’s Eve menus to perfectly complement the occasions. To ring in the New Year in style, guests will be able to dance the night away on 31st December with a Retro party at the pop-up disco club, complete with decorations from 60s Marrakech and a DJ.

Should guests desire to venture outside the resort and discover Marrakech’s picturesque scenery during the holiday season, they can do so in the all-electric Audi E-tron, a new eco-friendly addition to the hotel’s transportation fleet. The resort will also play host to electric vehicle charging stations, supporting guests to reduce their carbon footprint in line with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s resolute commitment to sustainability.

To help fulfil New Year’s resolutions, Energy Reader Justin Andries will be visiting from 24 December to 4 January. With his unique way of approaching spirituality and personal development, he will help guests start the new year with greater clarity, freedom and self-empowerment.

For the little fans, the Kids’ Kasbah offers countless creative activities such as cookie making classes and festive-themed craft workshops. Even Santa will be passing by to visit with his sack of gifts. On New Year’s Eve, the children can participate in a disco night, meaning the whole family can experience an unforgettable holiday season in Marrakech.

To fully experience all the magical festivities the resort has to offer, A Festive Season Like No Other package is available with a nightly rate starting from EUR 2,800 (a minimum stay of six nights applies), including:

Round trip transfer from Marrakech Menara Airport.

Fast Track through the airport.
