The Malaysia-Lah High-Tea @ Elements Hotel Kuala Lumpur

October 5, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

The humble pot of tea makes a good afternoon tea! Being famed for their afternoon tea, Trace @ Elements Kuala Lumpur brings you with their delicious afternoon tea with the view of the gorgeous city skyline overlooking KL City

The Malaysia-Lah High-Tea promotion starts Sept 16 and highlights Malaysia’s colourful culinary scene.  In conjunction with Malaysia Day on Sept 16, you will be able to indulge in the Malaysia-Lah High Tea spread, created to reflect the country’s cultural diversity through its flavourful and colourful food. And this menu is specially curated especially what makes up Malaysia.

This time, Elements Kuala Lumpur’s top chef is collaborating with Dilmah ( a famous Sri Lankan Tea Brand) to bring you a delightful high tea menu which is paired with their suitable tea. And in here, one can enjoy the specially curated tea to enhance your dining experience.

Starting off with the cold bites, it comes with the refreshing and crunchy Young Papaya Salad, Duck Spring Roll coated with a sweet dark sauce and the Mock Chicken Vegetarian Lotus Bun. And then, it comes with the Indian Chat Masala Pie Tee which is served with crunchy bites and yet a spicy blend to enhance the overall flavours. It is paired with green tea with jasmine which is lightly coloured and yet a fragrant tea to go for that makes a perfect palate cleanser.

After the light cold bites, we continue with the HOT Savouries which are the Buttered Prawn Skewers. They are beautifully served in a creamy butter sauce together with the Golden Egg Floss. The Mini Beef Satay, drenched with sweet Peanut Sauce comes pretty good. For me, I am truly sold with the Tandoori Chicken Boxing, coated with flavourful coriander chutney. Asides, we have the Otak-Otak Terrine which is the side with the flavourful Percik Sauce.

Here, we are then served their Darjeeling Tea, a dark tea which helps enhance the overall dining experience.

As for the desserts, the Pandan Gula Melaka Cake comes divinely good and delicious which makes it to our favourite and must-have. Here, we are sold with their Pandan Gula Melaka which is sinfully good and addictive. It is indeed a luxurious touch in it that one should not miss. The Cempedak Cheese Cake is also a must to go for! The delectable cheesecake completes with flavours and aroma. So good and delicious. There is also the Creamy Lychee Mousse Tartlet, a little treat that one can relish in a single bite. Last but not least, we had the Sugarcane Pearl Sago, a soft but sweet dessert.

Well, we ended the dessert with the pairing of the Rose with French Vanilla Tea. It is a tea which suits ladies with a pleasing sweet aroma in it.

The Malaysia-Lah High Tea is available from Mondays to Fridays at RM148 for two persons sharing. If you are looking for a different afternoon tea, head to Trace Restaurant & Bar
