Six Senses Resorts and Spas Scoop 14 Awards as Chosen by Condé Nast Traveler Readers including Top Resort in Asia

October 11, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Honored once again to be placed among the giants of the travel industry, Six Senses resorts and spas win 14 Readers’ Choice Awards as rated by travelers. The quintessentially romantic Six Senses Ninh Van Bay tops the list of resorts in Asia and places seventh in the best overall place to stay.

The Readers’ Choice Awards reflect what the Condé Nast Traveller in the UK and its sister title in the US audience loves, remains loyal to, and can’t wait to experience again within every sector of travel. This year, over 240,000 readers cast their votes and shared their recent travel knowledge of the world’s top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, spas, trains, airlines, airports, cruises, and more.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam: #1 Top Resorts in Asia #7 Top Resorts in the World

“The treasures of both the sea and the surrounding mountains are at your fingertips thanks to an array of land and water activities ranging from hikes and beach picnics to fishing experiences and sunset cruises. And it doesn’t hurt that, no matter how you choose to pass the day, there’s always a plunge pool, wine cave, restaurants, and spa to return to on-resort.”

Responding to the double accolade, Benjamin Kreuz, General Manager of Six Senses Ninh Van Bay said, “We are absolutely dedicated to families and are proud to provide our guests with memorable experiences during their stay at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Guests naturally find a way to reconnect with their families and the nature around them as soon as they arrive. We look forward to our picturesque hideaway continuing to serve as a retreat for generations to come.”

Six Senses Bhutan: #2 Resorts in Asia, #17 Top Resorts in the World

“Six Senses is the latest of the global hotel heavyweights to land in Bhutan, and its culturally considered approach is a natural fit for a pristine kingdom that has been largely unchanged for centuries. The wellness-focused ‘hotel’ is actually a circuit of five lodges, each with its own distinct design … Of all the outposts, rustic and intimate Punakha is the standout.”

Six Senses Kocataş Mansions, Turkey: # 2 Top Hotels in Turkey, #37 Top Hotels in the World

“You can’t go wrong with a Six Senses hotel, but the Istanbul offering, Kocataş Mansions, is really something special. The hotel is housed in two historic mansions overlooking the Bosphorus, and the spa can be found above the main property, on top of a hill (guests can access it via golf buggy). The result is a breathtaking view and an instantly calming environment that’s particularly beautiful around sunset.”

Six Senses Kaplankaya, Turkey: #3 Top Destination Spa Resorts in the World

“Six Senses Kaplankaya offers a combination of seclusion, results-driven wellness and Mediterranean-inspired social community a stone’s throw from the region’s rich beauty and archaeological wonders.”

Adnan Yücel, General Manager of Six Senses Kaplankaya, said, “Being selected as #3 Spa Resort in the World is thanks to our hosts. Their passionate teamwork and love for what they do, understanding and believing our core values and wellness pillars enable us to go beyond ordinary for guests. We have always believed in our health and well-being retreats and personalized wellness programs that lead you towards an optimal life.”

Regional Top Resorts winners:

• Six Senses Shaharut #10 – The Middle East

• Six Senses Uluwatu, #10 – Indonesia

• Six Senses Laamu #15 – Indian Ocean

• Six Senses Con Dao, #15 –Asia

• Six Senses Ibiza #19 – Europe
