Family Staycation @ PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur

October 27, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

With their beautifully exterior that attracted me at the first glance, PARKROYAL COLLECTION  Kuala Lumpur is a nice hotel to stay where they are just located in the middle of the city in Bukit Bintang.

ParkRoyal Hotel Collection Kuala Lumpur actually just completed its renovation which took over more than a year and close to 2 years to complete. And this time, they bring you a NEW look and ambiance that you definitely love. With a green concept in mind, the hotel facade has a biophilic design – a vertical garden incorporating sky planters and the roof terraces showcasing more than 1200 sqm of foliage and a host of green features.

ROOM

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur has several categories to meet varying needs.  The co-chic establishment boasts 527 rooms and suites, flexible meeting spaces, and upscale F&B outlets.

And this time, we enjoyed our family staycation in their Signature Family Suites. With the tailor-made to ignite the imagination of young explorers, the colorful themed suites will thrill your young ones to no end! Choose from four exciting themes: Sky Wanderer, Enchanted Sweets, Journey in the Wild, and Choo Choo Train.

And for us, we stayed in the Journey in The Wild where Grace have loads of fun in the room. With the separate rooms, Grace is so excited as she can have some ME Time with her sister in the room with some fun and excitement. The rooms are indeed beautiful and it comes with a king-size bed together with 1 bunk bed. It is an interconnecting room where kids can have fun in the bunk bed.

The rooms are pretty unique with the dark wooden shades and grade shades. It comes with a beautiful interior and decoration and is complete with a colorful headboard which brings us the character of the room.

The room is elegantly furnished with a king-size bed, a workspace with ergonomic chairs, a smart TV with local and cable channels, a smart desk telephone, a minibar, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. The rooms are complete with the rainshower and separate bathroom for the kid and the adults.

We have also noticed that the hotel had made extra effort where they furnished the kid’s toilets with the kid’s toothbrushes as well as toothpaste. The setup is also slightly lower so the kids can easily reach the sink and also the bathroom. We even spotted they had also added in some touch of convenience for the kid’s bathroom as the soap and shampoo are placed slightly lower too.

And what impressed me is the room features sustainable bathroom amenities, biodegradable packaging, and filtered drinking water solution in every guestroom! So, say No to plastic bottles and you can enjoy unlimited in-room drinking water.

DINE

Well, they are few F&B outlets in the hotel and only three are managed by the hotel. We love the main restaurant- Thyme where they offer you with the all-day dining. We have our breakfast, hi-tea and dinner there.

The restaurant brings you the beautiful concept which is where they are complete with the dark and bright interior. The staff is also very attentive and the service is amazing.

We have our seafood dinner at night in the restaurant and the food is amazingly delicious. We love it so much and we don’t mind coming back for more. Their seafood buffet is a MUST to visit if you are a seafood lover as they offer a plentiful selection of seafood from oysters, grilled items, crabs, and many more.

CONVENIENCE

The hotel is located at the right spot which is at the heart of Bukit Bintang. To visit any place around Bukit Bintang, everywhere is simply convenient as Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Lot 10, Sungei Wang is within the walking station.

MRT and monorail are also available within walking distance and you can find a wide choice of eateries around there. For tourists who are looking to venture Jalan Alor, it is not far from the hotel and you can enjoy the fullest here.

OVERALL

Overall, we love the rooms so much. The rooms are really comfortable. For parents with kids, parents can have ME-time and so do the children can enjoy themselves in their own room. The room is indeed spacious and the bed is so comfortable too.

For those who are looking for a staycation in town with families, parking is not an issue as they have parking in the basement. And for travelers, it is easy to access the hotel as they are located at the heart of the town and you can access to MRT, LRT and there is a KL Hop on Hop off the bus too.
