Union Artisan Coffee @ Citta Mall

August 13, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

It’s time to visit Union Artisan Coffee at Citta Mall if you’re a fan of comfort food and coffee. We had seen the outlet before, so this time we decided to visit their signature outlet located at Citta Mall @ Ara Damansara. Coincidentally, they have launched a new menu for their patrons. This made us even more excited to try out their new offerings.

Union Artisan Coffee: Who Are They?

Union Artisan Coffee is a neighbourhood-concepted café caters mainly to the neighbourhood and working community. It all started with a simple desire to share and instil love and knowledge of good coffee with others. The desire has then expanded to brewing refined and tasteful coffee from our carefully selected beans, which are roasted in house. Patrons of Union Artisan Coffee are not only welcomed by a great brew of coffee and a comprehensive selection of savoury dishes, sweet pastries, and cakes, but also by a cosy atmosphere that adds to the pleasure of a cup of fine coffee.

The new menu offers us Soup Series, Brunch Series, Pasta Series, Rice Bowl Series, Mains Series, Snacks Series and Kids Meal Series under the comfort food category. As for the beverage category, they had the Signature Series, Espresso Based Coffee Series, Artisanal Tea Series, Exclusive Bottled Series, Kombucha Series & Matcha Series.

And this time, we tried not only their coffee, but also their delicious main courses, which are worth a visit.

Hunter’s Mushroom (RM 16.90)

The mushroom soup comes simply delicious and flavourful. They are thick and fill with the mushroomy fragrance.

#UACSoupSeries

Smashed Avocado Beneffle (RM 25.90)

The mashed avocado, poached egg garlic aioli, and pea sprouts salad are served on a beautifully prepared umami waffle. They are absolutely delicious, and Grace adores them!

#UACBrunchSeries

Chicken & Frites  (RM 25.90)

The Chicken and Frites is flawlessly prepared, with the Chicken Schnitzel topped with Candied Soy Glaze and served with Raisins Coleslaw and French Fries. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the chicken meat is simply delicious.

#UACMains

Salmon & Succotash (RM38.90)

Salmon lovers MUST order this dish! The Sous Vide Chilean Salmon is served with the Roasted Corn Succotash and Candied Soy Glaze. It is absolutely delicious, and the salmon meat remains very flaky and juicy.

#UACMains

Union Coffee’s co-creation series with Wondermama presents you with the Wonderous, Delicious Refinement to Nostalgic Flavours. There are 3 options to pick (or you can pick all) which is Sambal Penyet Dory, Beef Rendang and Ayam Kicap Pedas. We went for the Ayam Kicap Pedas, it was so yummy and flavourful. It comes with Nasi Kerabu, Telur Masin, Keropok Ikan, and Acar-Acar.

#UACRiceBowlSeries

Seafood Asian Arrabbiata ((RM 26.90)

The pasta is served al dente. They are pan fried to perfection before being topped with a wide tiger prawn, mussel, squid ring, wild mushroom, baby spinach, and pea sprouts. The parmesan cheese is then sprinkled on top. Exceptionally tasty.

#UACPastaSeries

Dalgona Candy Latte (RM 16.90)

The Dalgona Candy Latte is a real treat. The latte is absolutely delicious. Espresso is specially blended and combined with special milk and homemade dalgona candy pieces. Simply addictive!

#UACSignatureDrinksSeries

Mango Cream Matcha (RM 16.90)

Matcha fans must try this. One must order their creamy mango with uji matcha, which is then topped with whipped cream. I adore the scent of matcha combined with mango. It’s very refreshing!
