Exclusive Dining by The Oriental Group of Restaurants: Chinese Omakase Fine Dining 2022 By Guest Chef Frankie Woo and Oriental’s Chef Wong Chin Leong

August 27, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

The Annual Celebrity Chefs Signature Feast has returned! The Oriental Group of Restaurants is delighted to host a transcendent dining experience prepared by the award-winning culinary master, Chef Frankie Woo in collaboration Oriental Group’s Senior Executive Chef Wong Chin Leong with the support of his team. The gourmet feast will be presenting seven exclusive dinners across The Oriental Group of Restaurants from August 22 to August 30.

This year’s highlight for the Annual Celebrity Chefs Signature Feast is the increasingly popular Omakase Fine Dining inspired by Japanese cuisine. As the name Omakase suggests, Chef Frankie Woo will work hand-in-hand with Chef Wong Chin Leong together with his team in curating an eight-course menu using only the freshest ingredients, bringing an extraordinary Chinese fine dining experience for everyone.

For this unique collaboration of traditional Chinese cuisine with an Omakase approach, Chef Frankie Woo together with Oriental’s Chef Wong Chin Leong and his team will prepare various quality ingredients, including the Spanish baby lamb legs that are imported into Malaysia for the first time, whole 3-head abalone, fresh salmon, giant fresh water prawns, and ocean garoupa, promising an unforgettable feast. It is surely a delight to attract younger diners in enjoying Chinese Omakase for different cultural experiences and a new dining experience for our current customers.

Malaysia-born Chef Frankie Woo has over 45 years of culinary experience as head chef at numerous 5-star hotels and top-rated restaurants in Malaysia and Singapore. He is well-known in Kuala Lumpur for his iconic next generation Chinese cuisine.
