Aunty Sophie’s Banana Leaf @ Jaya One : Unique Banana Leaf Rice

June 23, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who are looking for some awesome banana Leaf rice, here we go to Aunty Sophie’s Banana Leaf. It is one of our trip to Jaya One and we spotted this shop and it is is a hidden jewel especially for banana leaf rice fans!

Located in Foursome Restaurant and Bar, the owners come up with the NEW creative idea where one can enjoy the banana leaf with an alcoholic drink such as beer and more. One can also truly enjoy this unique experience with banana leaf in the bar style where it is something unique to me.

Their Banana Leaf Rice is pretty unique to me as they come with the taufu kicap and watermelon raita which hardly to be found in other banana leaf outlets. In here you can savour the truly delicious banana leaf rice where you can have your wholesome banana leaf rice together with the watermelon raita, taufu kicap together with what you have in other banana leaf restaurant such as cabbage stir fried in turmeric, papadam plus loads of curries in it. Their banana leaf set starts at RM 12.90

Asides from that, we also tried their chicken and mutton varuval which is awesomely good. My husband loves is so much and he give a double thumbs up on it. It is completely delicious where they are packed with the aromatic flavours and each meat comes  simply tender. Awesomely good.

The prawns are fresh and juicy too which is also make it to our personal favorites

Asides, they have other delights you can add on to your banana leaf rice like deep fried fish, fried chicken and many more.

So, why not heads to Aunty Sophie’s Banana Leaf which is located at Jaya One Now!
