THE STORY OF XLK HOTPOT

Being that, XLK Hotpot is one of the famous and the brand who initiated the “green revolution” of the Sichuan Mala Hotpot. They not retained the delicious taste of the soup itself but the unhealthy products and processes are abandoned, and various healthy soup  bases that are nutritious and delicious are added. Asides from that, XLK Hotpot only use quality chili peppers from Gansu, chili from Guizhou, butter from Qinghai and Xinjiang, and  spices from Yunnan, all of them directly sourced from high-quality origins.

BENEFITS OF EATING MALA HOTPOT

Being the trend of mala, one can now gather their friends and family to enjoy mala hotpot as it is indeed a healthy diet for all. Why is that so?

The Chili Pepper in the mala hotpot dispels “cold” and “dampness” which is able to relieves pain and overeating. For the Chili in it, it helps to dispels cold”, stops dysentery, enhances appetite, and promotes digestion. 

And the most important point is the oily hotpot can give you a “hot” constitution and help you lose weight! Yes, you are reading it correctly–eating hotpot has the effect of losing weight! 

As the main ingredients of hotpot bases are chili peppers and chilis, these condiments are spicy, “warm” and can get rid of “dampness” in the body. At the same time, it can stimulate the appetite. When the spleen and stomach function well, “dampness” in the body is overcome!

ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS 

Water

Water is one of the main ingredients in hotpot. Its pH and mineral content play a vital role in  the human body. For XLK Hotpot, they use natural weak alkaline water to cook the soup  base, with an average pH of 7.5 to 7.9. This means they are not just rich in mineral but they are also free from harmful metals such as lead, arsenic and cadmium. 

With this, you are assured of sweet, robust flavour of the soup that definitely leave you with an unforgettable aftertaste

Poultry

Another signature in XLK is their delicious poultry where the meat is fresh and they are quality feed. All their beef are freshly delivered by their suppliers. Asides from that, their duck intestine comes with the complete freshness as you can see from their transparent textures.

For their Wagyu, XLK is using the best quality beef in the world. This is where they provide 100% purebred Wagyu Beef to ensure that customer enjoy the highest quality of beef where it brings you with the beautiful marbling and melts in the mouth texture. 

New Zealand Grass-fed Lamb (naturally lean and tender) 

For their lamb, XLK is using the premium lamb which is the New Zealand lamb. The lamb give you the highest quality of all and the sheep is grown in lush green pastures, fresh air, and natural sunlight, making their meat firm and healthy, with a natural lean taste, so fresh and  delicious in the mouth.

Ox Tripe

When dining Sichuan mala hotpot, Ox Tripe is a must! I And in XLK, their Ox Tripe is sourced all the way from Australia and their cattle are recognized being the best breed of cattle in the world. In XLK, their ox tripe comes from grass-fed cattle raised on green pastures. This food ingredient is graded, certified, and delivered freshly by air three times a week directly to XLK Hotpot. 

What’s make XLK Ox Tripe so good is where their chef expertly handle handle the ox tripe to remove odors and preserve its taste. A perfect addition to their traditional spicy soup base, it is a huge hit at XLK Hotpot.

Meatball

In XLK, their meatballs are awesomely good. Their meatballs are specially made from the farm-sourced fresh beef and theu are marinated with the XLK Hotpot’s Secret Sauce and refrigerated. They do not freeze the meatballs but serve them to order to preserve their freshness.

Seafood 

As for their seafood, they are delivered directly to XLK outlets daily from a local seaport. This is our best effort to support local businesses while also helping the environment reduce its carbon footprint. From crunchy squids to sweet grouper fillets, you can rest assured that XLK Hotpot is bent on bringing you the highest quality and freshest ingredients.

Canadian Scallops

Not just their seafood, the scallops are imported all the way from Canadian Coast where these scallops comes simply sweet, juicy, and majestic, are delivered fresh weekly to XLK outlets to ensure freshness and taste.

Prawn Paste

When visit XLK, one must try also is their prawn paste. In here, XLK uses the freshest prawns to make special prawn paste every day, with the aim of ensuring its fresh aromatic flavor. The prawn paste is specially made with prawns delivered directly to the restaurant by local seafood suppliers every day, and then specially made using XLK’s secret recipe. Each bite is so crispy and juicy.

Vegetable

Even for vegetables, XLK Hotpot works closely with Cameron Highland farmers to ensure that our vegetables are always tender and crispy.
