G Hotel Kelawai Reopens!

February 28, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

The much-anticipated wait is over. The edgy 208 roomed G Hotel Kelawai is finally emerging from hibernation whilst keeping to the highest hygiene standards possible after being one and a half years out of service due to the Pandemic. The sophisticated hotel marks the centre point of business, entertainment and family fun and houses rooms that are uniquely inspired by innovative design to create energizing space for guests to work or play by day or mix and mingle by night as well as two locally-loved food and beverage outlets – SPOON and Gravity, a 24th floor rooftop bar that is set to fulfil guests’ gastronomic appetites.

Beginning of March 13th, the hotel’s long-time community favourite French Bistro – SPOON which is positioned strategically to capture the panoramic mountain top scenery, will be open for 4-course Set Meals and libations as well as Weekend Buffets with dishes from all over the world. G Hotel Kelawai invites you to embark on a culinary adventure perfect for the formal and casual dining experiences, featuring classic and creative cuisines by our talented culinary chefs.

After enjoying a satisfying meal at SPOON, guests can head up to Gravity Bar for a chilled-out vibe, great music and even better drinks with both indoor and outdoor sections. Gravity steals the show with its spellbinding skyline view with 360-degree panoramic view of the island, covering lush greenery of the hill to George Town, and stretching all the way to the iconic Penang Bridge with a mesmerizing sunset scenery to boot. They offer great selections of Snacks, Afternoon Tea Sets at RM70nett, Buy 1 Free 1 on House Pours & Wine as well as 10 glasses of Beer at RM130nett. There is plenty to enjoy at Gravity, so whether you just want to relax with a few friends or party the night away, this is the place for you. G Hotel suggests reserving in advance if you would like to be seated outdoors whilst indoors offers just as an amazing view and sunsets.

“What was once a carefully crafted and delicately decorated lounge – 2PM has now transformed into a Japanese Dining Area – Miraku.”. Miraku, simply means a great place for customers to enjoy great food.

It is a fine dining restaurant designed to provide the art of Japanese dining to those who desire to experience gourmet food as well as a place where customers can enjoy Imported Premium Japanese Draft Beers, the largest selection of Sake with “Japas” at bar or at the alfresco area. It aims to bring the best of Japanese culinary while delivering the essence of Japanese cooking which places top priority in the selection of quality and fresh produce by serving up fresh flown seafood from “Toyosu”, Tokyo Japan, 3 times a week. Armed with the best and experienced chefs flown in from Japan, Miraku is marked to satisfy any food connoisseur’s taste buds.

To celebrate the reopening, G Hotel Kelawai is attracting guests with a “reopening offer’ to allow guests to fall in love again with the hotel as the soothing, soft décor relaxes the body while breath-taking views of the city invigorate the mind. G Hotel Kelawai also gives guest the option of having their wedding/ROM outdoors in spaces like Beyond Gravity rooftop as the sun sets while you say your wedding vows.
