Roar the Year of Tiger with New World Hotel Petaling Jaya

 The year of the tiger is roaring near and we will continue to persevere through and celebrate the Lunar New Year into a prosperous and auspicious year ahead. New World Petaling Jaya would like to introduce The Grrrrrreat Feast that the culinary and F&B team have put together to delight your palate. 

The roarsome galore will begin with themed Chinese New Year buffet spread in Pasar Baru starting on 15 January up until 15 February while the spread will be amped up on 31 January for reunion dinner, 1st day of Chinese New Year and follow though by the sweetest day of all – Valentine’s Day on 14 February and Chap Goh Mei on 15 February 2022.

Prosperity Smoked Salmon Yee Sang 

For those who are looking for set meals for this Chinese New Year, New World Hotel have them too. This time, we started off with the MUST To have lou sang. In here, toast your prosperity with their salmon yee sang which comes with the chunks of fresh salmon. Deliciously done! 

Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Brazalian Mushroom

Moving forward; we enjoyed the hearty bowl of the boiled chicken soup. The soup is being double boiled for hours together with the Brazalian Mushroom. The taste is really soothing and nutritious. Really a nice one to go for! 

Roasted Chicken with Thai Mango Sauce 

We also enjoyed the Roasted Chicken with the Thai Mango Sauce. The chicken is perfectly deep fried till perfection and then it is side with the awesomely prepared sweet Thai Mango Sauce. Lovely meal to go for! 

Steamed Grouper with Ginger and Light Soya Sauce 

Chinese New Year will never be completed without a fish! And this time, we are having the Steamed Grouper Fish with the beautifully steamed tiil perfection. The meat remains the flaky texture and they are topped with the generous portion of ginger in it which makes it umphh. 

Wok Fried Cereal Butter Prawns

Asides from that, one can enjoy the Wok Fried Cereal Butter Prawns. The prawns come perfectly good and the prawns are fresh. They are well coated with the cereal butter which makes the dish perfectly delicious! 

Black Mushrooms with Black Moss, Money Bag and Vegetable 

As for the vegetables, this is indeed a comfort food for us. They are well prepared and packed with the wholesome goodness in one where we have the Black Mushroom with Black Moss, Money Bag and Vegetables all in one.

XO Fried Rice with Shrimps 

Before moving to desserts, we had the XO Fried Rice with Shrimps which is well stir fried till perfection and aromatic. They are just awesomely done with the wok -hei in it and the taste is indulging.

Chilled Peach Gum with Aloe Vera and Longan

Deep Fried Rice Cracker Purple Potatoes with Nian Gao/ Strawberry Mochi

And of course, we ends with some sweetness in our meal. We had the Chilled Peach Gum With Aloe Vera and Longan As well as the Deep Fried Rice Cracker Purple Potatoes with Nian Gao / Strawberry Mochi.
