Samsung Malaysia and KLFW to Showcase Iconic Galaxy Z Devices in Strut Down Runway

November 9, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Samsung Malaysia Electronics commemorated the grand return of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) with its iconic Galaxy Z Series gracing the runway at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in celebration of the fashion industry’s revival in Malaysia. Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G to unfold a new chapter of foldable smartphones the world had yet to experience – a chapter where our devices work to empower us through an ecosystem built upon flexibility, openness, and innovation.

The latest entries to the renowned Galaxy Z Series were built with the craftsmanship and digital intuition that Samsung fans have come to expect and love, without forgetting key improvements to make this generation of foldables the most groundbreaking yet. From their bold design to their synergy via Galaxy Ecosystem, the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Z Flip3 5G has truly brought about new ways to transform how we live, work, and play.

“Through this generation of the Galaxy Z Series, Samsung has once again redefined possibilities with devices that have the versatility and expressive capabilities needed for today’s fast-paced world,” said Elaine Soh, Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Malaysia Electronics. “With innovation and design at the forefront of this generation, the Galaxy Z Series brought fashion-conscious users unparalleled function while effortlessly making them the center of attention wherever they went.”

Craftsmanship to Last for Generations

Samsung users expect the best in function and style for all their products. That’s why this generation of Galaxy Z devices were built with uncompromising craftsmanship to improve upon the past with durability standards to last a generation. For the first time ever in foldable history, the Z Fold3 5G and Z Flip3 5G comes equipped with IPX8 water resistance to shield against accidental splashes. Furthermore, shock-durability was also improved with Armor Aluminum, the strongest aluminum ever used on a Galaxy smartphone, alongside Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus™ to protect against scratches and accidental drops. Adding to its arsenal of protective features, both devices now include a new protective film made out of stretchable PET and optimised display panel layers to create an ultimate Main Screen that’s 80% more durable than ever before.

Making History with an Iconic Look

Breathing new life to nostalgic foldable designs, the sleek Hideaway Hinge sees a return on the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, encapsulating the device’s Hinge behind a hidden panel to enable a versatile viewing experience via Flex Mode. The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G then completes its innovative design with a subtle Under Display Camera finish on its Main Screen to keep users immersed like never before all while looking sleek as ever. Whereas the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G was made to unapologetically express personalities – rocking its bold look with seven loud and unique colours, an improved and personalised 1.9-inch Cover Screen, and a host of accessories for users to pair their fiercest outfits with. Being the pinnacle of unmatched style and function is how the Samsung Galaxy Z Series will define this era of foldable smartphones.

Samsung Brings the Galaxy Experience to KLFW

In conjunction with KLFW, a Samsung Galaxy Z Experiential Pop-Up Booth will be erected from 3 – 7 November at Level 3, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (between Pleats Please and Giorgio Armani) to bring the Galaxy Experience right into the palms of consumers. Throughout the event period, consumers will be able to get an up close and personal feel of everything the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G has to offer alongside more exciting contests and promotions to partake in.

As industries are beginning to reopen, Samsung Malaysia and KLFW aims to return stronger than ever with KLFW’s largest show yet. In partnership to revive the fashion industry, they call upon Malaysians to head over to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the future of versatility and discover new experiences that will enrich their lives with greater possibilities.
