Lights and delights: Get in the Deepavali mood at Pavilion KL

October 28, 2021 By StrawberrY Gal - Event Leave a Comment

The Festival of Lights is right around the corner! Get into the Deepavali mood by celebrating the vibrance and diversity of Indian culture and traditions at Pavilion KL. From now until November 7, ‘Journey of Colours’ invites shoppers to enjoy incredible festive decorations, mouth-watering dining and amazing shopping deals

Pavilion KL’s first-ever 500-metre Kolam Runway

Deepavali won’t be complete without the intricate and vibrant kolam designs that bring good luck and prosperity. Admire Pavilion KL’s first-ever 500-metre Kolam Runway that connects Couture Pavilion and Connection, via the Pavilion Crystal Fountain.

Strut your stuff and admire the 100 different designs along the Kolam Runway, created by students of Raffles College, INTI International College Subang, and INTI Center of Art and Design. The vibrant kolam designs represent the beauty of Malaysia’s diversity, sacred symbols of the festival, as well as representations of the triumph of light over darkness.

Be sure to stop by and admire the blossoming beauty of the illuminated giant lotus flower kolam adorning the iconic Crystal Fountain. Shoppers will also be greeted by a colourful traditional rice kolam at the Main Entrance.

Dine Like A Maharajah

Food plays a very important role in any festive celebration, and Deepavali is no exception! This celebration calls for an array of sweet and savoury dishes to be shared among family and friends. One of the best Northern Indian restaurants in the city, Royal India serves their signature hearty Kadhai Gosht, rich and aromatic Tandoori Lobster, tender and succulent Lamb Sheekh Kabab, and their warm fluffy Naan. Pair your feast with a cold glass of creamy Mango Lassi or a hot Masala Chai!

Location: Royal India, Level 6, Pavilion KL

Grilled To Perfection

Barbeque Nation’s selection of grilled items

Head over to Barbeque Nation for an amazing gastronomic experience. Be spoiled with a tantalising selection of grilled skewers in tikka marinade, as well as mouthwatering buffet spreads featuring a selection of curries, biryani, naan, chaat (snacks) and traditional Indian desserts.

Enjoy A Cuppa Royal-tea

Tea tastes better when you’re sipping it from a stunning mug! The juxtaposition of the modern grey glass and retro pewter in this mug from Royal Selangor takes your cuppa to the next level. For tea drinkers who take their brew seriously, freshness is vital. Royal Selangor’s stunning melon tea caddy gift box with an airtight double lid maintains the goodness of tea for the best brews.
